Fun simple box of magic tricks- best for beginners. Would make a good birthday present. Kids liked the easy tricks and that they could do one at a time rather than opening a whole box of items and being overwhelmed.
So much fun!

The National Geographic 12 days of magic kit is so much fun! My 8 year old absolutely loves it and has spent countless hours playing with it. It’s perfect for a child who wants to dabble and learn some of the basic magic tricks. It’s very easy to use and learn right away.

This National Geographic 12 Days of Magic Countdown Calendar has my son wanting to learn all magic tricks now! We read all the instructions (which were pretty easy to follow) prior to starting. Then we decided we would learn one trick each day for the 12 days. I was surprised at how fast he caught on. He has pretty much mastered all the tricks with the exception of 2. This magic set gave us a bond we really needed and it out a huge smile on my son face.
Awesome- Like a Calendar!

Love that this is set up like an advent calendar. My 10 yr old loved the anticipation on seeing what was going to be in the next day’s box! Instructions are clear and come with a QR code for further instruction. Perfect for this age!

My 9-year-old daughter was completely enchanted by the 12 Days of Magic game from National Geographic. Every day felt like opening a little secret from a magician’s notebook. The tricks are surprisingly good, not just simple gimmicks, but real sleight-of-hand and clever science based illusions. It sparked her curiosity, kept her engaged, and gave her the confidence to perform in front of family. It’s more than just a toy it’s a memory-maker. We looked forward to each day and were genuinely sad when it ended

What an awesome magic kit for kids! I love the secret compartments where you reveal each days item to use. So many cool items with a calendar of instructions packed with a Velcro close top. Well done and lots of fun!

This is such a fun magic set. I think it would be great as a gift even. It has twelve different activities that are each an individual magic trick. Each door opens a new trick. There is a separate instruction book on the inside cover that has its own pocket. There is also velcros to keep the cover shut.
What a fun advent calendar of sorts!

Wow! This is an exciting advent calendar of sorts. The punch out boxes are clearly labeled and it makes it easy to find the day to open. The instructions are thorough and if you don’t skip ahead you’ll be surprised with each “day” to open. Tricks seem to be aged appropriately and are easy to do.

It was hard for my kids to wait 12 days to open the different boxes, so they ended opening two a day. They likes the magic items inside, and were showing family members for days after opening the boxes.

This is a great play set for fostering creativity and problem solving for my growing toddler son. He enjoys playing and interacting with the various piece parts to create something new and exciting. He enjoys magic tricks and this is an excellent start to learning his favorite hobby. He enjoys this magic set and I could not be happier. I highly recommend this product to others!

The 12 days of Magic countdown calendar was so much fun! I love that it gave my kids something to look forward to each day—and gave them a chance to work on one trick at a time before opening up the next trick! The instructions were easy to understand and the tricks still had enough “wow” factor that they impressed my teenagers.

Fun calendar with a good mix of magic but also science experiments. My four and six year old were excited to open a number each day. Our set appeared to be missing a coin but we were able to use one of our own. The quality of the box is nice as well. Some advent cale dars are cheap cardboard that fall apart but this one is a higher coated quality.
A fun way to count down 12 days to Christmas!

My 10 year old son had a fun time learning a few simple magic tricks. He will most likely play with this set more often than other toys he has. Especially since magic tricks take some time and practice. We gave 4 stars because one of the days was unfortunately missing a piece for the trick.

This is a pretty nice little magic set. My 8 year old loves the fact that it's an advent calendar where you open a new truck everyday for 12 days. It's perfect for her age because she's able to read the instructions and figure out most of them herself. They are fairly simple to learn. She only had a little difficulty with the wand and had to scan the QR code to watch the video. My 4 year old is too young for this but does like to watch my 8 year old so the tricks so he gets excited too.

My kids really enjoyed this set, and they are all different ages. It is fun and the stuff inside are well made. They enjoyed taking turns to open each day. My oldest especially enjoyed this set the most and enjoyed trying out the magic tricks.

Not a bad kit for beginners magic. It will definitely keep your children entertained, but not sure that they will want to continue using it after their initial using. I do appreciate though that they mixed magic with science so the educational value is there

I gave this kit to my nine year old daughter, who loves doing magic tricks. She had a kit previously, but was only able to successfully do about half the tricks in it. She’s a little older now, so I thought I’d give this a try. The packaging is nice, a sturdy box with doors, so it’s a lot like an advent calendar and adds some extra fun. Each door opens and the supplies for one of the tricks are inside. The instruction book is separate, with clear directions and pictures. My daughter had a lot of fun with the whole thing and after some practice, was able to make all the tricks work.
So fun!

First off my 9 yr old was incredibly excited when this came in the mail. We used it as a count down for the end of school. The presentation of the box is well done - I like the flap that secures over the front. The item dividers are thicker to help with durability for daily opening. We’ve been able overall to store the tricks back in box which is nice from an organization standpoint. Really like the trick book stores as well. The instructions are clear enough for her to understand the trick. She does need to practice a bit as it does take a little coordination (not sure my almost 7 yr old would be able to complete them as well.) I would give this more of a 4.5 because there were a few disappointing things. At the end of the first day the wand came apart. We were able to find all the pieces and put it back together. There was not a coin on the second day for the trick - we did substitute in a real coin and it seemed to work fine. We ended up finding the coin in around day eight. Overall, I think this has been one of the more fun boxes for my daughter to open and has been a good introduction to magic tricks. She’s really enjoyed them and has plans for a show.
