Q: Hi! Is this something I can use after tretinoin? I was prescribed that for my acne, I use it at night and benzoyl peroxide in the morning and my skin is so dry and flaky.

Do you have dry skin that also likes to be oily because it lives for the drama? Then this moisturizer is for you!!! I am a skincare junkie (of all price ranges) and rarely repurchase products. This moisturizer changed all of that. It is perfect for night, when we want something really hydrating and creamy, but won’t break you out. My skin feels plump and glowy by morning and I’m not a walking grease ball. My biggest recommendation is that less is more with this product. Take a quarter sized amount and put a dot on the main parts of your face and neck. Then tap (don’t rub!) the lotion in until you can feel it all over your face

This is a true thick balm consistency so if you’re looking for a regular moisturizer this may not be it because it kind of dries to a matte texture. My skin is normal to dry and I only use this for the “sandwich method” per a video from Dr. Sam Ellis on YT where she shows how to use the Naturium Retinaldehye serum between layers of moisturizer. My skin broke out horribly from the adapaline/Differin years ago but using the combo of this moisturizer and the mentioned serum my skin hasn’t had any negative side effects. My jawline hormonal acne (in my 30s) is healing and my skin hasn’t been flaky, tight, or dry. I do use Cosrx peptide serum toner and sometimes their snail serum too before the moisturizer and retinol sandwich. A major con is the moisturizer has a plasticy or rubbery scent in the jar but once applied to the skin I can’t smell it. It’s fine but I think I wouldn’t repurchase if I can get another cream to work with the retinol serum.

I used this after using this brands retinol once a week at night it is creamy and soothing and it seemed to help the flakiness that comes with retinol use at first. I’m 52 and I have Pcos and rosacea and dry mature skin. It also seemed to reduce my crows feet when I smile! It does have an eraser type smell as other people have stated but it went away after a few minutes for me and didn’t bother me at all nor did it break me out and my skin is super sensitive I feel

I like that it helps with some redness in my cheeks but I dislike that it’s not very hydrating for those with dry, dehydrated skin. It wouldn’t really be considered an every day moisturizer… probably just one I would use if skin is more sensitized. Also, this balm smells like a pencil eraser or something.

This cream is extremely moisturizing. I've been having issues with dry skin and nothing was helping, but after a few uses of this product, my dry flakes are gone. This does leave my face feeling a little greasy, so I can only use it at night, but I feel like it does a great job at locking in my other skin serums. I highly recommend.

The texture of the lotion is nice, it feels hydrating but why does it smell like rubber tires 😭😭😭😭 the smell is so off putting it makes me not reach for it but I also don’t want to waste the product and not use it. Would not buy again simply because of the smell. Don’t expect my products to have perfume like fragrance, no smell is best! But wow, wasn’t expecting a rubber/chemical smell.

This has greatly improved my damaged moisture barrier around my eyes. They are way less irritated now. It’s a great consistency. A pretty odd smell but you get used to it. Highly recommend for dry skin folks!

I normally stay away from occlusives because they’re usually sticky or greasy, so I was skeptical initially. I needn’t have been. This balm is wonderful. I wake up with velvet skin when I use it and I don’t stick to the pillow. Big win!

Not the worst thing I’ve ever tried, but created crazy pilling on my skin. Wanted to play with this replacing my LRP for after tretinoin, but it absorbs much more poorly and, like I said, TERRIBLE pilling.

As soon as this was available, I picked it up. I’ve been using it for about four months now after my moisturizer, and I am obsessed. This is one of those products that’s for slugging, but it’s not too much. A little goes a long way it melts into your skin. I also sometimes use it as a regular moisturizer and it works perfectly fine.

I'm a Tretinoin girly. I've been using it for the last 5 years and I still get dry skin and flakes so I'm about MOISTURE. This product smells a little funny but moisturizes so well! It's the last thing I put on after all my skincare and it keeps the flakes away and wears well in the Texas heat! With my sensitive skin and the added sensitivity due to retinol, it doesn't sting or cause any ance! This will be staying in my skincare routine.

I love this moisturizer! It’s thick and moisturizing enough for my skin in the winter without clogging pores. My skin hasn’t been this soft in YEARS! I’ve been using this along with their vitamin c complex serum and I’m so impressed! The smell of the moisturizer isn’t great but it fades within a couple minutes.

I love this moisturizer, i use it after the versed weekend glow toner, ordinary multipeptide+HA serum and it locks everything in perfectly. Doesn't feel too heavy and is definitely calming. My skin wakes up feeling plump and happy. I don't really notice the smell, I just kinda prefer skincare smell like the ingredients rather than added scents. I also love their plant ceramide moisturizer and the peptide one in the silver tube!

Naturium makes some amazing products at great price points and this is one of them. This moisturizer locks everything in and is a great last step to my routine. Stacked ingredient list in this balm. I also love their peptide moisturizer in the tube for daytime and need to try more of their serums and creams.
