Q: Does this can have a pull top for opening it?
submitted by casem - 3 years ago
A: To make sure we can properly meet demand for our products we do occasionally source packaging to fill supply gaps which have a pull tab top on the can. - Andrew, Carnation® Brand Ambassador

Q: Is it a liquid or a powder?
submitted by Sdork317 - 9 years ago
A: It a liquid. Unopened, it doesn't require refrigeration. After the can is opened, any unused portion needs to be refrigerated then used within five days or so (like regular milk).

Q: Why do the specifications say it may contain FISH? Is that weird or what. Please answer. Customers need to know if it actually could contain Fish and what kind? Thanks

Q: Not a question but a suggestion. The picture of the can you have displayed is very confusing. It looks like chocolate flavored evaporated.miok. please use the picture of the actual can.. thanks

Today I needed 2% milk for a recipe. So, we opened a can of Carnation and poured it into a measuring cup, then added our skim milk to reach 2 1/2 cups. My layered dessert turned out great. Thanks !

I use this evaporated milk when i make white gravy. We use skim milk to save on calories but we want our gravy creamy. So, i pour in a cup or so of skim milk and stir it in w/ the flour mixture and then pour in a can of carnation milk and my husband pours skim milk in the can and he swishes it around and we pour it in w/ the gravy. It is divine. Also, I use it for the milk when I make butter cream frosting. I do have a few recipes that call for a an of condensed milk.So back to the cabinet for the carnation.
