Q: Does this powder still come with its own brush?

A: I just received this product (6/23) and it does not. There is a compartment for an applicator but nothing is in it.
submitted byRHC - 6 months agoA: Maybe it did 4 years ago, but I just (June 2022) ordered this and another Neutrogena pressed powder compact, and neither one came with an applicator - no brush or round pad included with either one.

It should help cover up redness, but we'd recommend looking in to one of the Neutrogena liquid foundations for covering up acne. Hope this helps!

Initially I was recommended this from other tik tok peeps. The coverage is perfect. I love the packaging of the sponge and mirror on the other side. I like to pop this in my purse for oil control. Great shade for my fair skin.

Been buying this same powder compact for years and they last few have come without any sort of applicator sponge/pad. The compartment is still there for it, but it's empty (well, there is still a mirror). I thought it was a production fluke at first, but now after another empty compartment, this must be intentional. I have a brush I can use - and i held onto the pad from a previous compact - but I'd love a fresh new round sponge each time I buy. This change has soured my opinion of the product overall.

I have been using this for YEARS. I used to put it on my bare face, but as I’ve gotten older I have started applying a layer over my foundation to keep it set. I have noticed that the packaging has stopped including an applicator sponge and the shade range options have decreased over the years. I have naturally oily / combo skin, so I will continue to buy this as long as it’s on the shelf in my shade - to keep my face from shining mid-day. Easy to take on the go to reapply as needed, too!

I love this because I never have to worry about breaking out from wearing makeup. They are also really good with oil control, being a powder. Also perfect for when you want light coverage. Emphasis on light, because it’s not the best at covering blemishes.

If you’re looking for a lightweight, everyday foundation that doesn’t require too much time, this is perfect. I sometimes use it just to cover bad blemishes and not on my full face.

I started using the Neutrogena powders when I was in middle school and I remember it always giving full coverage always giving glam. It’s not leave my pores Kiki or flaky.  thumbs up.

I put sunsreen on most days and my face is naturally oily. So as you've guessed, my face is always shiney! I use this for light coverage on my face blemishes and to blot the oiliness of my face. It does not clog my pores at all.
