I use this balm to remove my makeup and find it works quite well. The balm has a soft texture that melts quickly on the skin. With gentle massage, it removes makeup and sunscreen effectively. After rinsing, my skin doesn’t feel dry or tight—just clean and moisturized. It has a light, pleasant scent and is suitable for daily use. The only small downside is that for heavy eye makeup, you may need to massage a bit longer.

Good for a drugstore cleansing balm
While this did help me remove my makeup I found that it was not a lot of product and I had to use more of this than other cleaning balms I’ve used to get the same results. It took a bit for me to get my mascara off as well. Overall I wasn’t too impressed and would prefer to spend more on a cleaning balms that lack a bigger punch.

I am really impressed with the effectiveness of this melting balm; it dissolves even my most stubborn waterproof mascara without me having to scrub. I was worried it would leave my skin feeling oily, but it doesn't leave any heavy grease behind once you rinse it off. It’s very gentle on the eyes and doesn't cause that blurry vision some other balms do. The scent is very light and clean, which I appreciate for a product I use right on my face. It makes taking off my makeup at the end of the day feel much more like a spa experience.

This product is incredibly effective in cleaning makeup for lips, eyes,face, even waterproof mascara,without any tugging and doesn’t irritate my skin. Soft texture, no bad odor . It really melts onto my skin and sort of just lifts the product off of my face making. My skin isn’t dry or tight and feels soft and comfortable after.It’s very small, fits in my pocket and comes in a small box , easy to travel with and doesn’t spill . Reasonable price and easy to find. Overall,this a good product that I would recommend to anyone looking for simple makeup remover but effective.

A must have makeup remover
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Melting Balm is my most favorite makeup remover. I usually pick a small quantity and apply over my face and it instantly melts the makeup, I use a makeup eraser cloth or any wash cloth soaked in warm water to remove all the makeup. It washes off easily as well. No oily residue. I do a two step cleanse and this is my first step followed by a gentle soap based cleanser. I don’t smell any fragrance. It’s very efficient and gentle on my skin. It works well to remove eye makeup as well, that’s very important for me in a makeup remover.
