WARNING! If it gets in your eye it burns like Bear spray.
PUT SOME ON MY CHEEKS FOR A MOTORCYCLE RIDE ON A SUNNY DAY AND FROM SWEAT AND WIND A DROP GOT IN MY RIGHT EYE. IT WAS LIKE BEAR SPRAY, PAINFULLY BURNED AND COULD NOT OPEN MY EYE FOR HOURS. TRIED FLUSHING MY EYE THREE TIMES AND PUT B&L REFRESH DROPS BUT BURN CONTINUED FOR HALF A DAY. THIS PRODUCT SHOULD BE BANNED FOR TOPICAL USE.

Effective Sun Protection
As I have gotten older, sunscreen (and its ingredients) has gained a lot more significance in my life. I make a much greater effort to at least apply sunscreen to my face, and this sunscreen provides great protection without irritating my sensitive skin.

Lovely sunscreen
As a woman of color i love mixing this sunscreen with my daily moisturizer every morning as i get ready its quick and easy to apply and blends beautifully into my skin in a matter of seconds i use a quarter size amount of sunscreen and never had an white cast issue. I will admit working out with this on my face burns really bad if sweat gets in my eye so i make sure i wash my face before working out and it hasnt been a problem since.

Pasty face
Awful. If you apply the amount required for optimal sun protection you end up being absolutely pasty. It leaves a write film that simply does not absorb or fade. Would not recommend. Has nothing to do with sheer. Blue lizard is the way to go.

BURNS
I guess it works, but even if you even accidentally touch anywhere near your eye with this sunscreen it burns for hours. I tried washing my face off, flushing my eyes out no matter what i did this sunscreen burned and made my eye swell up. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried it 2 more times. The next time i had a bead of sweat near my eye and I had to quit my exercise because I couldn’t see. Much better off with any other sunscreen. Never had this experience.

Hate this stuff!
I'm not sure what is meant by "sheer", but i guess "dry touch" means this stuff leaves a white, chalky powder on your skin. i can't stand it. i gave it two stars because itdoes prevent sunburn. i have been looking for an everyday sunscreen that it is not noticeable and doesn't smell like the beach that a man like me can wear to work. i have tried many prducts with no luck.

Just okay
Bought several of these for when im outside gardening.ive used it just twice and doubt there will be a third. I Would put on and wait at least 15-30 min indoors for it to fully soak in and within 15 min of working outside in the texas sun and sweating id have white streaks all down my face, arms onto my clothes from the stuff just completely melting running off my skin. The first time i wore it, the sweat from my forehead made it run in my eyes and burned my eyes so the second time i just put it on my cheeks, tip of nose, and chin. Even though i showered and washed face as soon as i came inside- My Face has since broke out. Usually love neutrogena products but this one is definitely a miss for me.

#THEBEST
I loved it. It’s the only face sunscreen I use . At first I broke out a lil bit it was bc I wasn’t used to sunscreen. Easy to blend and doesn’t leave a white cast. Buy this sunscreen

My standby
I used this sunscreen for years, then went through a long period where skincare was not a big priority for me. But when I started noticing the wrinkles, I rushed back to it, because my dermatologist told me that helioplex would help to prevent wrinkles.

Pills and easily transfers to dark clothing
I really like the facial sunscreen I’ve been using from Neutrogena and wanted to give this one a try to use for my body. I do like the size of the bottle and that it’s spf 55, but that’s about it. I applied it to my arms and it took a long time to rub in and absorb and also pilled really badly. Worst of all l, after it was supposed to be absorbed and dry it transferred onto my black pants and left streaks everywhere. So embarrassing and frustrating. I was reading other reviews that also mention how easily it transfers to dark clothing so be warned. Personally I’ll be returning this, very disappointing.

Not sure why there are bad reviews!
I wear this sunscreen everyday on my face for the past year. I don’t get a white cast nor feel sticky with it. I usually mix it with my moisturizer! I’m not sure why there is so many bad reviews. This a cost effective sunscreen and works just as well as the bigger name brands.

White cast and transfers a ton
I have no idea why this sunscreen is advertised as “sheer” when it has an awful white cast (and I’m fairly pale). It does dry down fairly quickly, but it has a sort of powdery finish, and it transfers like CRAZY. Even hours after applying the sunscreen (when it was well dried down), I briefly rested my arms on my legs, and my pants were covered in white residue.

Embarassing to wear
It was dry to touch but my face was completely white, and I am Caucasian. Would not use again. I have the Neutrogena spf 50 oil free, breakout free clear face and it works much better on my face.

Not melanin friendly
As a black woman definitely darker than NC45, this will have you looking casket ready. The white cast, is not blendable. Despite waiting, vigorously rubbing, I had to wipe it off prior to leaving for work, simply because it gave my skin a grayish looking hue. Would not recommend for POC. Spend the extra on the other brands

Slight noticeable white cast. Great value
I use Korean sunscreen for my face but for the kids and for my body parts, I use this and it's great. A very slight white cast on our brown skin but hardly noticeable, goes on well, broad spectrum, and great value.
