I love this product. This is a real help to my hair. It perfectly cleanses the scalp, also making the hair fresher and healthier. The pleasant texture of the scrub gently massages the scalp without causing irritation. After this scrub, the scalp feels clean and moisturized. The aroma is also pleasant, not too strong. I especially like that the scrub lasts for a long time, as it foams perfectly and does not need to be used too much at a time.

Beware of Sun Exposure!!
I do like the way this product feels in the shower and it smells so good (although it’s no more effective than a clarifying shampoo). HOWEVER, it makes your scalp extremely sensitive to sunburn. The first time I used it I wasn’t thinking about it so I went out in the sun for a couple hours after. Got the WORST scalp burn of my life, it was terrible, like oozing scabbing bad. Figured okay, just something to be mindful of, but I’ve used it a couple times since and get burned if I’m outside for more than 15 min within 24 hr of using this product. I’ve noticed some other clarifying products actually come with a warning about this on the label (ex biolage). Not worth it for me.

Cleared up my dandruff

Really get the “clean scalp” feel. It does make my hair really dry, but following up with conditioner/ a hair mask really helps.

Get the job done but not great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love scalp scrubs, but this one is average. My favorite being the goop version. In comparison, the Nexxus scrub is much grainier, so the crystals are a lot larger and they didn’t lather nearly as well. I had to use quite a lot of product in comparison to the goop version.

Refreshing and exfoliates!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product! I have a lot of dryness and itchiness issues when it comes to my scalp and I have tried a lot of different products. I’ve been trying this for a month and everytime I use it, my scalp feels great and I see dramatic improvement, less flakes and itchiness. I’m going to keep using it and I think I’ll also add a scalp oil to see if that will make it even better.

My partner used it (on his thinning hair) and liked the feeling on his scalp. I liked the subtle scent. Not sure if I’d purchase it but will definitely keep using the sample!

Sometimes one needs a little extra help getting rid of built up products and the scrub does just that. It can be a little difficult getting it all rinsed out but I do have very thick hair. I love the scent of the scrub and it leaves my scalp and hair feeling clean without any heavy or greasy feeling.
