Q: Can i bake a chicken in there
A: I do not know, but I would have liked an answer from the "brand expert" that said "Yes, as long as the size is ...". Given the photo, I somehow doubt it could roast a 6-lb chicken.
submitted byTDG07040 - 3 months agoA: Yes, you can cook and bake a chicken on this unit.

Q: I live in a RV, looking for this type of appliance with multiple functions. I am concerned about wattage to run this unit. It says it puts out 1800 wattage, but is that what is required to function?
A: Yes, a 30 amp RV power source can run 1800 watts, as a 30 amp circuit has a maximum capacity of 3600 watts, meaning you can safely operate appliances drawing up to 1800 watts
submitted bycym57 - 3 months agoA: The Ninja Flip Toaster is 1800 watts.

Q: Is it easy to clean? And how do you clean it?
A: I have the older version. Easy to clean: flip it up and the bottom opens for easy access to clean. It has a Crumb tray,, just wipe down. Love this item, use it daily.
submitted byMkp - 6 months agoA: This is very easy to clean. We recommend cleaning the interior after every use with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth. Ensure the unit is unplugged and cooled before you start.

Q: Is this oven safe to use? It makes all the lights in my house flicker while it's running.
A: If your lights flicker then I would get an electrician out because itv sounds like Shortage somewhere.
submitted byfredreed - 3 months agoA: Anything with a heating element is going to need a lot of electrical current to run (space heaters, straighteners, mini ovens). It sounds like it’s pushing the upper limits of your kitchen’s circuit and might one day trip your circuit breaker. You’d need to either unplug other high power items to use this or try using an outlet on a different circuit.

Q: The interior is SGCC steel, which upon researching is zinc-dipped through hot dip galvanization process, but I am also reading everywhere that this is only safe up to 392°F. However, toaster ovens go up to 450°F, can you explain this logic?
A: The interior of the Ninja Flip Toaster Oven is made from steel, which is galvanized with a zinc coating. While it’s true that zinc’s melting point is around 787°F, the coating’s stability at lower temperatures is generally acceptable for household appliances. The 392°F figure you read about refers to the temperature at which zinc can begin to vaporize in an industrial context, not the safe use limit for your oven. For this toaster oven, the zinc-coated interior is safe up to its maximum operating temperature of 450°F. Manufacturers design these products to ensure that the coating remains intact and poses no risk during normal use. The temperatures reached in household ovens do not cause any issues with the zinc-coated steel used in these interiors.

Q: What is the crumb tray made of? What is the best way to remove stains from cooking including baked on stains? Is baking soda safe to use on the crumb tray? Is vinegar safe to use on the crumb tray?
A: The crumb tray is made of metal. To remove baked-on stains, soak the tray in warm soapy water and gently scrub it with a non-abrasive sponge. Baking soda is safe to use on the tray, but avoid harsh abrasives to prevent damage. Vinegar can also be used to clean the crumb tray safely.
