Q: When you put toast in the top oven, does it toast both sides or do you have to turn it over? I do not see did not see  any heating prongs on the bottom of the top oven. Only on the bottom of the bottom oven.

A: Great question! When using the top oven of the Ninja DCT601 to toast bread, it’s recommended to place the bread directly on the wire rack. This allows heat from the top heating elements to reach the surface effectively. However, since there are no bottom heating elements in the top oven, you may need to flip the toast manually to ensure both sides are evenly browned. For more even toasting without flipping, you might prefer using the bottom oven, which has heating elements on both the top and bottom.

Dirty and Used!!!
The box was torn and dirty to begin with, the contents were even worse! I recieved a used air fryer! it was greasy and dirty. I'm still in shock. I'm done with target. Never again, I am beyond disgusted. They should investigate who packed that or if someone purchased it then returned after many uses.

Great product but didn't last more than a year :(
I have to say I really like this product! Unfortunately we have had it just over a year and the door mechanism has worn out and you have to put a hand on the top and hold down pretty hard to open the door. Really disappointed that I have to get rid of it for the price I paid. Again, it works well, but the fact that the door not working is super disappointing.

Ninja double stacked oven.
Double oven is amazing… air frying in the bottom while baking cookies in the top! Heats up in 60-90 seconds unlike my oven! This is a great addition in my kitchen for my kids always heating something up!

Where has this been all my life. I love it, especially being a single woman who only occasionally cooks for 2-4 family members. It's perfect and I haven't used my regular oven since I unboxed it. I thought it would be hard and confusing but it's as easy as apple pie, and makes a great apple pie!

Never again !
Very disappointed, never received my package . It said delivered and they left it out in the street. With other packages and when I called they said there’s nothing they can do !! I am very disappointed and angry! So I would never place an over again. I spend over 1,000 on the order and there’s nothing they can do !!! The new law is that they aren’t responsible for packages anymore. Once they show deliver. Don’t buy anything of value if they won’t guarantee a solution!

So far so good. Had another Ninja XL and didn’t like it at all. Replaced it with this one. Love the accessories that come with it. Fast preheat, food does not go from raw to charred in 3 minutes like the previous Ninja. Like the ability to cook two items at different temperatures.

Cheap stainless steel inside
Good luck with keeping it clean. It has the CHEAPEST stainless steel inside that cannot be scrubbed and if you try to clean it, it will look like trash afterwards. A waste of money. Love the double oven feature though.

I’ve had the ninja double stack, countertop, oven and air fryer for a few weeks now. I believe I’ve used it every single day between toast or flatbread, pizza or roasting veggies, even fried fresh okra! This is especially good for a couple or single person. There is no need to fire up the oven as often anymore. That is if you are a cook like I am. I can’t wait to explore more recipes using this countertop oven

Dissappointed!
This product has never air fried properly, even after increasing cook time and temperature by 50 degrees! Called Ninja and they were nice but it was out of warranty (my fault for not being more proactive) and they said I may have gotten this product with a faulty heating element. I toasted some bread and it did ok for that. Too upset to try any other features. Definitely a huge regret in spending so much money. I am looking a Ninja single or two-basket air fryer to purchase. I do have a Ninja coffee maker and a set of Ninja cookware, which I am super pleased with. Here’s to air fryer shopping!

Disappointed
Disappointed in Ninja DCT401 Double Oven. When pushing the latch on the top oven to open it, it stays pushed in; thus top oven door won't stay shut. It worked at first; only had product one month; used top oven only 3 times. Also quality control poor; there is a small dent in the back of the oven at top.

Terrible do not buy
This thing burns everything!!!!! I make homemade waffles and freeze them on the lowest toast setting it burns the waffles and it’s still cold on the inside even roasting vegetables it cooks them so unevenly. The ninja foodie is a much better product I’m so disappointed

Incredible multitasking cooker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is incredible. It was something I never knew that I needed in life. We used it to cook Thanksgiving dinner and it was phenomenal.
