A: When using the the Sizzle Pro XL Griddle + Grill, always select the recommended temperature setting. Recommended settings can be found on the on-board Cook-Time Sticker and in the Quick Start Guide/Inspiration Guide. Make sure the splatter lid is installed. We also recommend using one of the following oils when grilling: almond oil, avocado oil, canola oil, grape seed oil, or vegetable oil.

A: When using the Grill/Griddle function, always select the recommended temperature setting. Recommended settings can be found in the Quick Start Guide and in the Inspiration Guide. Cooking food at a higher temperature than recommended will result in more smoke and food having a burnt, acrid flavor. Applying oil to food or the griddle plate can improve nonstick performance during cooking. If using oil, we recommend using oils with high smoke points instead of olive oil.

I have the earlier smaller version that I hardly used. But I kept going back and forth on getting the XL size. I’m sooo glad I pulled the trigger. I’ve used it twice so far for breakfast. All on the griddle at one time. I think I didn’t use the smaller one because i would cook something , remove, clean, and cook some more. I have so much more room now with the XL. Cannot wait to do burgers and dogs next. And fajitas and stir fry!!!

Excellent grill as expected. This is a great upgrade from the original. The lid is better. Now has a drip tray as it can collect more drippings. Large cooking area. Controls are great. Very happy with my 6th ninja.

Love, follow the fact it is so easy to clean only use Olive oil do not use sprays on it. Butters on it Follow the directions. And read all the directions on what you can do, what you can't do. If you follow that, I've had no issues with sticking nothing. It has been absolutely wonderful, easy to clean. And the hood comes off easy to clean.I love this thing

Wet box?!?
Why was the box wet? This is supposed to be a gift for my husband. I know have the box in a closet and I’m hoping it dries out before I wrap it. I had to towel off the box (the cardboard is still wet) and the inside of my car.

Very Poor Design
it has a nice large size but it still is a dangerous piece of junk. the cord is very short which forces you to use an extension cord which can be an issue, the handle on the lid is so small that your fingers could potentially get burned on the lid and there is no tilt to the unit to drain any grease build up while you are cooking so you will be cooking in a pool of fat. you would be better off with a george forman grill.

It's a great griddle/grill. Heats perfectly. Cooks perfectly. Easy to clean. The reason I give it 3/5 stars is that if you're using the timer and aren't finished cooking, it will start cooling down. For example, if you set a timer for 5 minutes, after the time goes off, if you don't immediately reset it, you'll be cooking at a lower temperature and will have to wait until it preheats again. The second reason is that, regardless of whether you use oil, butter, or nothing at all, it will still smoke. So it's not smokeless. I recommend setting the timer to 60 mins and using a timer from your stove or phone. I haven't used the manual heating, the high, med, low settings are perfect for me. And as far as oils go, I say use whatever just make sure you clean well after each use. TBH you can get away with not using anything because it's non-stick.

Best Griddle I've owned
Product is sooooo great!!!! I always wanna cook on it. The sear on my meats are top notch. My only gripe is the lip in the front might need to be slightly taller. I find a slight issue when cooking eggs. They also tend to run into the grease catcher fast. Cleaning this super easy. I have about 8 of your products and I will say this is in the Top 3. It can easily be a 5 star product.
