My sons keep one in each of there rooms and talk to each other and say goodnight with these walkie talkies. They love them. Haven’t tried them long distance yet, but work great for inside.

Picks up on others radios/monitors/walkie talkies
We liked them until they started picking up on someone else’s radio, monitor or something not in our house hold. The kid was trying to talk to my husband through the walkie talkie… definitely not safe if some creep gets ahold of it.

The design is cool, but only one of the walkie talkies was able to be unscrewed for the batteries. The one with luigi was drilled so far into the plastic, my dainty mini screwdriver stripped the head. I was really disappointed, but luckily my nephew didn't really know what the gift was..therefore, i will be returning this. I even tried to pry off the back and would've duct taped it, but that sucker is never coming off! It even survived being thrown at the floor in frustration...
