Less than a year old & is cracked & rusted at the top lip edges - making it sharp & not pet tongue friendly!! It is used on a patio out of the sun & weather. Just junk now for the trash.

Finally found one!
I had been looking for an extra bowl to use with my dog’s drop-in feeder stand. I don’t know why, but a single metal bowl is really expensive most places. I finally lucked out with this one! It’s not a perfect fit in the feeder I have, but it will stay snug in the slot like the originals. The finish is very nice and the non-slip bottom is perfect if I use it away from the feeder. It is indeed dishwasher safe and both the metal finish and nonslip coating survived a normal wash cycle. Now I can easily rotate out bowls when I need to put one in the dishwasher and need a spare as replacement. Both my dog and I are much happier with this — we had been using those pop-up silicone bowls as spares but they are simply too small to mix anything and an absolute pain to wash wet food out of. Problem solved!
