Great bench

The only hiccup was assembly. Not so easy. We could not figure out how to install one detail but without it, it still works. Assembly is definitely two-men job.

Beautiful and strong!

I bought this in brunette brown and I absolutely love the color. It took 2 people to assemble comfortably. Love that all pieces came numbered and they sent extra hardware! Great for entryway

Save your money

Holes are stripped and came broken and cracked. The return window closed before we put it together. Bought for $205. Junk.

In protected entry to remove shoes.

I don’t normally comment so soon. I’ve only had the 1 day. We placed it outside in a protected entry to our home. It took approx. an hour to put it together. With two of us, it still required some groundwork maneuvering. I’m 66, 5’2” and easily bend & lay on the floor to add hardware. Predrilled holes made alignment easy. My husband is 6’2”. After we saw our friends struggle with their balance & flexibilty, the bench was a must. We both found it comfortable to sit on for putting shoes on & off. The practical bench storage is great to store shoes in. We’ll be purchasing one more for our backyard entry.

Awesome bench and easy instructions

I love this company. First time I have purchased anything from them but I love there instructions for assembly and the way they have the parts in separate bags making it easy to see if you have all the screws and hardware you need. They even give you extras in case you mess something up. I am a woman and I have put together a lot of furniture from different furniture companies and so far this is my favorite. Thank you so much.

Less storage than I expected

It has much less storage space than I expected. That's my own fault--I thought I had looked at the measurements. Also, when assembled, the middle leg is 1/4 inch too short. It doesn't meet the floor. Otherwise, all ok.

The junkiest junk I've ever seen

i thought I'd be a grown-up and not get IKEA furniture. big mistake. This thing is garbage. the predrilled holes do not align, but I managed to put it together pretty quickly only to have it fall apart in less than a an hour. the lid came off of the bench upon opening! do not get.

Excellent Product-Acadian Entryway Storage Bench

I was very pleased with this product. It was affordable (more than fairly priced) and is of good quality. A trade-off of quality is weight. That said I appreciated that I was able to assemble and position this furniture easily (without needing a second pair of hands!) The bench is constructed of wood, however, the bottom is a different material (similar to what would be used for the back of an armoire or entertainment center. This item was shipped with great care and gave me the impression that the employees at this company take pride in their work. Best of all, this shipped from the USA and not China. Thank you to everyone who had a hand in the design, build, marketing, and shipping of my new bench! It's perfect for what I needed.

Great value, sturdy, two-person assembly job
