Chemical additives undisclosed
The one that looks like a hand has a sickly sweet smell to it. Often times sweet smelling additives are toxic. They aren't disclosing what the smell is coming from. If you want to know why American mental health and digestive issues are on the rise, look at the additives in our household products and foods. I recommend avoiding any scented toys for your child. Once they are an adult their tolerance and ability to eliminate toxins will be much greater.

Awful smell
If I could give this 0 stars I would. The smell on the teethers is TERRIBLE and very intense. Having something with such an intense smell close to my babies face, let alone in his mouth cannot be healthy. I considered trying to boil them to get rid of the smell but then saw that they are actually intentionally treated with something undisclosed giving them the awful smell. This certainly doesn’t make me feel comfortable having my baby chew on them. Make cleaner products.

It’s true, the hand-shaped teether is scented with a vanilla-ish scent. Why???? Why would you do this? Luckily, the other teethers in the set do not smell. Disappointed.

I bought these for my 5 month old and opened the package to this sickening scent. One of the teethers is scented this disgusting sweet kind of smell. Nowhere is the description does it say scented except for fine print on the back. This is disgusting to give to infants Nuby won't even give information about the scent claiming its "proprietary information" This is poison do not give to your poor little babies.

These teethers are artificially scented and Nuby provides no information on the ingredients. They smell disgusting, like a cheap air freshener, and there’s no way I’d give them to my baby to put in her mouth. Why isn’t this noted in the product description? Are they trying to cover up an even worse chemical smell? Bizarre and unnecessary.

I usually love Nuby teethers but I did not realize this one is scented. It doesn’t say it anywhere on the package (that I could see) and I didn’t realize it until after I had already given it to my baby that it smells like vanilla cupcakes. Why would you need to use artificial scents on a baby product, especially one that is made to go in their mouth??

This is a baby teething product and it’s SCENTED! The website description does not mention anything about it being scented, the packaging does not mention anything about it being scented, but the smell is so strong that now our other silicone teethers smell gross because they were all washed together with these teethers. I do not recommend buying this product unless you want a very strong artificial scent on your baby’s teethers.

Perfect set!
I love this set! We had the older version with our 4 year old and he loved the hand and gum massager. Our 8 month old likes the hand and is obsessed with the ring teether. I love the updated ring teether compared to the older version. All the different textures to chew on is great!

Infused with chemicals. Why is it scented????? Since it can’t be washed off I can’t help but assume that it must be some nasty chemicals.

My twins fought over the hand for so long as soon as their first teeth were coming in. They also love the green bristly one. No idea where the other one ended up, they probably hid it somewhere. These are great though, I would have bought 2 sets if we hadn’t been gifted so many other teethers at our baby shower. I see other reviews mentioning a scent but I never noticed it?
