Looks nice but shedding isn’t worth it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We initially loved the rug. The design gives it so much texture while remaining a neutral color. However, after having the rug for almost 3 months I strongly recommend against getting this rug. It is still shedding a ridiculous amount to the point that if we don’t vacuum every 3 days it looks like we own a shedding dog and there are dust bunnies all over the place. Also the pieces travel far easily and can be found in other rooms. This is a VERY HIGH MAINTENANCE rug and your house needs to be vacuumed every few days to keep up with the shedding. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Beautiful rug

It also has a smell to it, that seems to come with changes in humidity. I’m guessing it’s the wool, and hope that it lessens over time.

Knotted and peeling

Don't buy if you have kids or pets
This rug is stunning, but I would only recommend it if you don’t have pets or kids or allow shoes or maybe even people in your house - ha ha. We’ve had it for 9 months and it looks so dingy and filthy. It also shed incessantly for the first two months even though I vacuumed it every day. It’s impossible to clean even with a high suction vacuum. EVERYTHING sticks between the chunky weave of the rug. Again, it’s absolutely gorgeous, so if you are putting it in a low traffic area or an area without pets or people, you’ll love it. The parts under furniture or that don’t get walked on much still look amazing, but the rest looks completely different. I’m an obsessive cleaner, but even for me, in a home with three kids and two dogs it’s just impossible. Oh, it also smells TERRIBLE if it gets wet. Our new puppy had an accident in it, and it still smells musty weeks later.
