    Terrible smell

    (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Warning this rug smells. I’ve had it out for over a week now and the smell has not dissipated. I’ve never had a rug that smelled this terrible before. Even after a week with an open window, it’s still so strong I have to shut the door to the room or it makes my whole hallway smell. Do not buy.

    DOESNT SHED!!!

    It looks exactly like the pictures. It does have a very dirt earthy smell when it arrives. I’m hoping it fades. IT REALLY DOESNT SHED!!! Beautiful texture to it. Look of jute without the shedding and not nearly as rough. It’s not plush and soft but it’s soft to walk on. Very happy!!

    Good at first , but gets damaged so easily

    At first it looks nice , for about a month.... Then it gets something on it and dirt and stains are impossible to remove. The dirt is so difficult to shake out of the rug , it collects a lot of dust and dirt and the vacuum doesn’t get it because it gets down inside the rug. It essentially has many giant staines and smudges that won’t come out :((( . I wish it was more durable and had a way of cleaning. I just got it a month ago and it already looks like trash . I don’t like walking barefoot on it because it is always so dirty. I don’t know what to do other than throw it away and get a new washable rug .

    Mildew or Mold - Do not buy

    This rug was wrapped in plastic but the inside cardboard roll was mushy and broke apart as did the cardboard on the ends like they had gotten wet. It smells strongly like mold and mildew - very strongly. I’m returning these because I don’t want that smell or the mold spores in my home. Very disappointed. Were these wrapped while wet? Were they stored in wet area that seeped in? I don’t know. I just know that this smell last more than a day and this isn’t good. I’ve never had that smell in any other rug. Not like this.

    Mold

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If I could give this rug a zero rating I would. The construction and make of the rug is nice, but as this was unpackaged we had a strong smell of mold that I had to immediately move the rug to the garage as I did not want the smell to linger in our home. It’s been 2 weeks since it has arrived and it still smells. I think we will cut our losses and throw it out. Such a shame.

    This rug moves!

    Even with a rug pad, this rug moves. It's the weave of the rug, not the pad. Difficult to vacuum and it just doesn't hold its shape. The weave looks a lot more even in the picture. Reality is that its weave is of varying heights. Not a fan.

    Terrific Handwoven Jute blend rug

    Beautiful Jute Rug!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had just bought a new washer and dryer set in black and copper (gorgeous), and my white jute rugs no longer matched. These rugs are PERFECT! They are absolutely beautiful and make my new w/d look even better. The subtle weaving of brown jute into the black looks gorgeous, and I love the pattern on each end. Highly recommend (and I am super fussy about my rugs)!
