Not easy to buy online especially that you want to touch it and feel it in person, however, the reviews helped me make a decision and take the risk. I am so happy with the purchase, it is soft and pure 3/4 inch thick, great great quality, very happy.

So glad we went with this wool rug for our main family room area - even our dog loves it :) Carefully read a lot of reviews for this rug, and they were spot on. Wool is so worth the investment, but in this case, the sale made it that much more worth it. Shedding isn’t even that bad… just follow the instructions of not over-vacuuming. Great quality and hope for years to come of good use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love a soft wool rug, and the only reason I'm giving this rug 4 stars is because it doesn't resemble the photos close enough in terms of color. It's way more yellow in person and I feel like the photos make it look more white or ivory. It doesn't help that everyone puts filters on their photos. I do know that wool rugs/carpeting can end up being pretty yellow, but this rug just leans so yellow that it's not going to work in my space.

This is my first disappointing purchase at Rugs USA. The rug arrived stained in several places, and with a very pungent odor. Vi immediately took pictures, which i forwarded to customer service. Despite receiving a damaged/stained, smelly rug, customer service advised me to pack it back up and return it, which i did. Having the customer do the legwork after receiving a damaged rug is unacceptable. Very dusappointed.

I’ve had this rug for 4 months now and it continues to shed like a mf, even after countless rounds of vacuuming. Thick, yes. Comfortable, no. It’s like an itchy wool sweater when you lay on it. Can’t kneel or sit on the ground without getting covered in wool fibers, which also cover the ground surrounding the rug. A nightmare for someone who likes things to look clean. Also recently went to clean a coffee spill and so many strands/pieces of the rug came loose, which tells me even further it’s poor quality. Got this for a good deal, but even that doesn’t make up for how much I trulyy, truly hate this rug. Wish I listened to the bad reviews.

I got this rug about 3 months ago, it is soft and looks great in my space. It shed a TON upon arrival, but I thought it would reduce over time. It hasn’t. I’ve had wool rugs from west elm that have shed, so I knew what to expect, and this is much worse. It’s nice and soft to sit on, but It leaves hairs all over my clothes. It leaves hair and dust balls all over my house and I need to vacuum 2-3x per week because of the rug alone. I bought this when baby #2 came and didn’t expect it to make my life harder. If it wasn’t outside the return window I would return. Would not recommend.

I am really not sure what the reviews reporting shedding or off gassing are all about...it do have an organic order when first unwrapped but that quickly faded and you could tell it was not a petroleum/toxic odor. As far as excessive shedding I am not seeing a lot. I have walked on it in my socks and no problem...it is in a bedroom so not very heavy traffic but I really love the look and feel of it.

I’ve had this rug for about a year now and I love it! Honest review! Yes it does shed and initially I had regrets as the shedding was kind of excessive but it does get better over time!! I hardly notice any shedding anymore and I am glad I kept this rug!!!
