Not sure how this will hold up over time. I purchased a large carpet (8X10) so it's not going in a my washing machine. Also the color is much lighter than shown online. I ordered this to be a sound barrier between 2nd and 1st floor (with a pad from another company) and doesn't really help in that respect.
