It’s really pretty and soft as described, but super slippery! I almost fell twice before turning it the opposite direction hoping for more traction. I’m going to vacuum it and see if that helps but I got this for my bathroom. It might have to be moved to a less high-trafficked space.

Terrific Rug
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this rug to make a cozy area for my grand children to play, and it has been a huge hit! They love rolling around on it and playing. The rug is gorgeous, very soft, and yes, a little slippery, but not dangerously so. I did put a thick pad under mine, which gives it plenty of cushion. The color is gorgeous, and the checkered texture adds to beauty of the rug, with subtle shade variants. I have not washed it yet, but I know it will need to be done in an industrial dryer. I haven’t had the rug long, but so happy with it so far!

Didn't get a rug pad because it's the bathroom and it'll get wet, and it still has a decent bit of cushion to it. I am in love. It has elevated my whole bathroom and is a joy to stand on. I am hoping it still has the same look and feel after washing but I haven't washed it yet.

Dangerously Slippery
The rug is not what I expected. It is pretty but a lot thinner than I expected, so it doesn't feel that luxurious, but that could be fixed with a thick under rug pad. The real problem with the rug is that it is very slippery. I slipped on it couple of times getting out of bed and I don't feel safe having it in my bedroom.

DANGEROUSLY SLIPPERY
Bought this for our nursery, and although it’s soooo soft and adorable, it’s BEYOND SLIPPERY!! Seriously dangerously slippery. I would not feel safe walking with my baby on this rug. With socks on, it’s like black ice!! If you plan to walk on this rug, do not get it!!!
