I bought this in the shade Onyx-pected; sheer black with loads of rainbow sparkle. The color is SO pretty, but definitely not the "high pigment" that it claims to be-- and the color isn't buildable. The plumping effect is subtle, and the product is SPICY. It's like you rubbed hot peppers on your lips. Spice-averse folks beware because it really burns. I love the color and the smoothing effect on my lips that I ignore the burn. The concave applicator is really cool too; perfectly hugs the curve of my lips so that the gloss applies evenly.

Absolutely LOVE this gloss. I use it with the NYX Duck Plump liner. Yes it does burn some. But that’s how plumpers work. It does plump my lips. Stays on for a long time. Gloss is smooth and not sticky, which I really like. They just need to make more colors! Love it! I’ve purchased 3 glosses and 2 liners so far, and just came onto the Target app to buy another one of each.

I wanted to love it but it just hurt too much! The shade was just what I was looking for that I can't find anywhere else. Even being someone that often eats and drinks raw ginger the burn was way more intense than that and doesn't fade.

Started to panic after a couple of minutes of my lips burning and itching, I felt like I was having an allergic reaction, even my throat and tongue were tingling. I had to wipe it off. I’ve used lip plumping products before without an issue so this was worrisome. After reading several reviews, it seems as though this is “normal” for this specific product. Unfortunately will be returning.

I understand it’s supposed to have a heat of plumbing but the whole time I wore it for like 45 min. It burned and the dark glitter one I got it wasn’t even the glittery or dark. I really wanted to like this product but it hurt too much and the pigment pay off wasn’t great.
