Was really excited for this lip liner. But when I opened it I got this odd white color on the lipliner. I got the color “Stockholm” so it wasn’t anything close to white in color. Is this normal? I’ve been wearing makeup for the past 10 years. I’ve never had any lipliner do anything like this before. It makes me weary to use it.
I have this lipliner in multiple shades (Shake That Money; Sway; Girl, Bye; Subversive Socialite; SMLL65; Amethyst; Little Denim Dress; Ex's Tears; Jet Set; Oh Put It On; Cyberpop; Run The World; and Doom). While the colour selection is incredible, the liners themselves are somewhat dry which makes them tug a little on the lips during application and can also make them apply somewhat patchy. I had been searching for lipliners with a colour range like this to pair with especially difficult/unique lipstick shades that can sometimes appear unevenly if not layered overtop of a corresponding or at least similar lip product (i.e. blues, greens, and purples). These served well enough for providing a base colour over which to layer the lip colours to make them last longer and appear less patchy, though as previously stated the lipliners themselves do not apply smoothly and evenly and therefore I am unable to use them as a standalone lipcolour. Additionally, I received several lipliners from the batch PKN0W that had a white substance on the product that seemed to spread over time. Finding this extremely concerning, I did not use them and contacted customer service with photos and the batch code and was refunded soon after.
