  • A: Cleaning your floor with our microfiber mops and just water does not kill bacteria. It simply removes bacteria and dirt from the floor surfaces, as proven in our testing. Of course, if you prefer to use a cleaning solution, you can choose to use your favorite floor cleaner mixed with water. It is suggested you clean before you disinfect any hard surfaces. You may clean your refills, machine or hand wash them in warm water and lay flat to dry. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners. We hope this helps.

Q: Does the mop have a telescoping handle to adjust the reach of the mop? (For instance, to use to clean walls)

  • A: Once fully extended your handle should be 48 inches, and you should see 3 different sections (one red and two gray metal tubes). If you are not seeing all sections, it is likely “section 3” attached to the gray Thread Plug that is not extending. Please remove the red triangle base by unscrewing the connect from the handle. Then try twisting the grey thread plug at the very bottom of the handle while holding firmly onto section 2 with the opposite hand. We hope this helps!     Impressed with this mop.

    I wish I had gone to this mop earlier instead of using the disposable wet wipes provided by the competitor which are scented heavily and bad for the planet as they're single use. This mop does a great job. I was concerned that it might be too big for my small apartment but it's fine. Once a week, I use it to go around my apartment twice - first with hot water with some diluted castille soap and second time with clear water to remove any soap residue. The water is dirty both times so I do recommend doing that. I find that simply rinsing, wringing out and air drying the pad is sufficient and I don't have to launder it.

    Mop til you drop

    I live in a small apartment, but rarely deep cleaned my floors because getting on my hands and knees is such a chore. I was counting down the hours until this mop arrived and used it immediately lol. I like how simple it is and it seems well-made. I screwed the handle together, wet the pad with hot water, wrung it out and went to town. The pad surface is larger than I expected and made quick work of my floors; I have both cheapy vinyl and hardwood and this worked well on all of it. I rinsed the pad in hot water until it ran clear after each room and my floors look great. I bought a spare pad to have a clean one at the ready/allow for my lackadaisical laundry habits. I don't have any kids or pets and I don't wear shoes in the house, so it's possible that this wouldn't be as efficient for homes with highly soiled floors, but it's perfect for me.

    Great for ceilings and walls

    I love using this for wiping away dust and cobwebs on my ceilings and walls. The microfiber pad swipes it all up easily without leaving any marks. Also fits nicely under furniture like my couch to swipe up dog hair, crumbs and other dust bunnies that get trapped under there!

    waste of money

    I bought this to clean a <400 sqft apartment. I only cleaned the floor in the front hallway, the size of less than 1/4 of the apartment, and I had went through the 'rag' included so I had to use the replacement I ordered. Unfortunately after I used the replacement I was on my hands and knees with towels for the same amount of time going over the job I did with this thing. And in the short time I used it the handle/stick came unscrewed. Not worth it.

    Best mop ever!

    It spins around table and chair legs, goes under furniture, and cleans baseboard molding. It turns in any direction you need it to so mopping is such a breeze. When you need to rinse it out during mopping, just take the cover off, rinse and wring it out. The covers are machine washable and very durable.

    So easy to have clean floors!

    I have used it once and have already 'fallen in love' with my O-Cedar Mop. Out of the box, add water and go. It worked like a charm, moved smoothly across the floor whether on tile or wood. Strange to say, but I'm almost looking forward to the next time I need to clean the floors ;)
