New formula is horrible!
The new formulation (with less beeswax) is horrible and doesn’t perform the same at all compared to the old formula. Not sure why they had to ruin this!

old spice ruined their product
new version sucks crap.. its extremely sticky and doesnt blend well in the hand .. then goes on clumpy.. used the old one for so many years and now you ruined your product

I love it!!!
I have used this product for years and I love it. Application tip: it took me awhile when I first started using it to figure out that if I just took a tiny bit and rubbed it all over the palm of my hands then add a tiny bit of water and rubbed it in that I could keep repeating this process to get it to the creamy consistency I desired. Then I could easily add it to my hair and comb it through evenly without any problems and style it perfectly and exactly the way I want it to look. Once dried it would hold all day and then a lot more. I don’t just use it in my hair, I also use it in my friendly mutton chops style facial hair to style that as well for the same all day and a lot more hold.

Makes managing hair easy

Very hard and gum like
Was not able to use this product. I could barely get it out of the container it's was so hard. It had the consistency of chewed up bubble gum when trying to roll in my hands. I tried to warm it up which made the texture easier to handle but as soon as it touched my hands it went back to the gum consistency.

I bought a week ago. Do not usually buy this for my hair. Smells great but that's it. Does not hold for longer than an hour. Tried applying more. More does not equal stronger. I had to look up the purpose of this hair putty after thinking this would hold up a simple hairstyle. Do not recommend

This product works better for me than any other I've tried, including salon options that are 5x the price. It controls my short, wavy, thick hair but looks natural. Despite being Old Spice brand, any scent is barely present, which is a bonus for me.

Not "high hold"
I bought this because Target stopped carrying Axe Matte Wax (high hold, low shine) in stores. The holding power of this one is much worse. Axe provided all-day results. This one only holds for a few hours.

Review On My Boyfriend’s Behalf
This is one of the original products in Old Spice’s mens hair styling line! My boyfriend has longer hair ontop and tight shave around the sides. He swore by this product for quick styling and holding the hair back all day. They’ve recently changed this line to have beeswax and he is not a happy camper. He hates how the product performs. If anyone sees this and has recommendations of other brands to try because of this same reason, please comment and let us know! Thank you!

Smells nice but no hold
I tried this product after normally using the American Crew products. The putty smells nice and initially holds well, but there is no hold throughout the day. My hair is immediately falling back in my face after a little wind and the hold seems to wear off by lunchtime. I would not recommend unless the hold is improved.

Buyers beware!
Buyers beware. Old spice has changed the formula of the original product and added beeswax to the product. This iteration is a lot less manageable and doesn’t give the same results as the previous version. For myself and my hair type and style it’s not a good match at all.

Great Stuff
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was nervous that this putty was going to have a strong scent, but for me the scent is pretty low, which is good. So if you are looking for something that has a bit of a scent then this is good. The application is good as well, and the hold is good too. If you combine it with a good hairspray, your hair will hold its style for much longer. What i liked is that it washes out easily. It gets out with just water, but i use just a little bit of shampoo to make it even easier.

Best Putty Ever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually don't wear hairstyling products in my hair because I don't like the way it looks since I have really thick hair. I have been wearing this putty for over a week and let me tell you it's the best. It leaves my hair in place with amazing hold without the annoying feeling of wearing a hairstyling product. I will buy this again once I run out for sure.
