Olive & June Glue Press-On Nail Glue - Extra Hold - 0.24 fl oz

Game changer. Best nail glue on the market and well worth the price. I experience absolutely zero popped-off nails with this glue - in fact, 7 days after applying, when it’s time to pop off the old nails and switch them out for fresh ones, it’s a tad challenging to lift and remove them (I use dental tape to wriggle in at the nail bed and then gently lift the nail bit by bit till it pops off). Additionally, the actual liquid glue inside the bottle stays consistent over time. When I buy Kiss brush on glue, the bottle dries up within less than 2 weeks, before I’ve even had the chance to use it up. ALSO: toenail press ons: with Kiss nail glue, those suckers can pop off within 36 hours of application (and I hold the nail down for a count of 55 seconds). With OJ nail glue, I’m experiencing like 80% less pop-offs of my toe press ons. ALSO, ALSO! Prevention/“treatment” of nail fungus: and this CANNOT be overestimated - all other nail glues I have tried either caused or exacerbated nail discoloration / fungus. This is the only glue I know that helps that shizz go AWAY and keeps nails healthier and stronger. To bullet point: 1. Longer-lasting, stronger, better adhesion 2. Bottle lasts longer than other glues 3. Prevents pop-offs 4. Helps with prevention/“treatment” of nail fungus How to apply: I gently file my natural, clean nail beds to scuff them up / abrade them. I use a cotton ball soaked in isopropyl alcohol to dehydrate the nail beds. I start with applying the brush on glue to the bed of the press on nail, set it down carefully, and apply glue to my nail bed, then apply the press on nail and hold it as tightly as I can for 55 seconds. WAIT ONE HOUR before exposing your nails to water/running water.

I've noticed all of the other reviews are fakes. Don't waste your money my nails fell off literally within 30 minutes of working and this NEVER happens with other brands. I properly prept my nails and the press ons , Let the glue dry for 5 seconds on my natural nail bed, and it still popped off the same day. This is only my 6th hour wearing these nails and already I've had to reglue 4 or 5 nails. Better off using anything else. Waste of money

Fake nails have never stayed on for me more than around 6 hours. These are stuck to me to the point where i would have to pry them off 24 hours later. I’m not sure how long they will actually last but as someone who struggles with nails staying on despite proper prep, I am extremely impressed! The easy application also made everything a breeze. I skipped the glue that came in the 7 day kit and just used this, and they don’t feel like they’re going anywhere. My husband asked me if I went and got my nails done! For the price, I don’t think you can beat it.

It's vital that when applying, you follow the directions, and allow the glue to "dry" for 5 seconds, then apply the press-on to your own nail. I didn't do this initially, and my nails initially popped off after 3 days of wear. After correcting my application technique, my nails have survived 14 days of dishes, showers, weight lifting, etc. This is about to become my holy grail product.

Such a fan of the ultra strong! My press ons are doing double the time with no pop offs.

I love Olive and June press on nails but the regular glue only lasts 3-4 days before the nails start to pop off. This glue has lasted over a week! And that is with doing dishes, laundry, the gym, bath time for my kids…etc. I am thoroughly impressed. My thumb nails did pop off 24 hours after application but that was 100% user error as the nails I originally chose were too big. After finding the correct size, they haven’t budged. I am thoroughly impressed!

Love that this is so easy to apply with the brush. The glue goes on evenly so you do not put too much and end up with extra glue all over. Just a normal coating and it literally lasts so long.

The glue works great but at what cost…. This is the aftermath of my trying to take them off (properly btw, soaking, glue dissolver etc.) I had my nails on for three weeks!!! Press on nails will stay if you apply them PROPERLY. This one happens to work a little too well.

After about 5-7 days, the edge of the press on at the nail base is always the first to lift when I use sticky tabs. A bit of this glue tucked in carefully will stick it back down for a couple more days and therefore worth it.

I bought this nail glue because it was the only in stock at my local target. I was honestly shocked at the price, because most independent glue runs around $10 or so, but no! Right around $6, and it has a brush applicator, which means no fighting with a silly tip and getting glue all over your skin. I make glue on nail kits, and have been looking for a glue that will last my rough handling. I work retail, so working in receiving is common, and that’s typically where I’d break a nail (or on the register) but I’ve had my set on over a week now, to the point that have to repaint them, rather than doing an entirely new set. I’m impressed and highly recommend this glue.

This nail glue held for 3 weeks and I was NOT gentle on it whatsoever. I chaperoned a field trip where we had to run through multiple airports with luggage, on and off buses, etc. then it lasted through days of keyboard typing, painting, dishes and cooking, etc. I followed the directions. Make sure you wait 5 seconds between applying the glue (your nail and the fake nail) and pushing the fake nail onto your bail. Make sure you hold for 30 seconds. The first one to fall off has been 3 weeks after initial application and because I fell and landed on the hand where the nail popped off painlessly. Also in historically allergic to nail products, but I had no issues with this. The photos attached are after they grew out and I painted in the gap to fill it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied a press on set with this glue on 5/10 and the first nail didn't come off until 5/27. That's SEVENTEEN DAYS. With the original glue, I usually have some come off within the first 7 days and I reapply them to get 14 days, so this is a significant improvement! You will probably want to remove them around 14 days anyway, as that's when they start to grow out. But honestly I was still getting compliments on my nails up to the day I removed them, even though they had grown out! (I was wearing the Sunrise Chrome, so there also wasn't a huge difference between the press on color and my nail color. ) When I took them off, it took about a 6 minute soak in warm soapy water to get them off. I highly recommend this if you want to increase how long your press ons are lasting!

I got this for my nails for prom cause my old nail kit had the glue dried out. It is so good. To apply it you don't squeeze it it's like a nail polish brush and you can easily apply a coat of glue everywhere. And it sticks. Usually my nails fall off within a day but it held up for four days until one nail came off. But I did a lot of manual labor and it didn't budge. I highly recommend for people who always have their nails fall off or want it on for a long time. I haven't tried to remove it so I'd say it's hard to remove if you wanted to.

Nails popped off within a hour. Re-did my nails and they all popped off again right away. Horrible:(

Used this with Olive & June press-ons. Nails literally popped off 5 minutes later. Tried re-gluing and more still popped off or just wouldn’t stay on in the first place.

I’ve used press-on nails for about 15 years now and have tried more nail glue than I can count. Most brush-on products don’t work well at all for me, except this one! It is exceptionally good and is now my new Holy Grail!
