A: Yes! It can be used Under your favorite Olive & June Gel Polish as a strong base. Builder Gel is used to build more strength and length to the natural nail than would be possible with gel polish. It’s slightly thicker and stronger than traditional gel polish. Both Builder Gel and Gel Polish do cure with the Olive & June LED Lamp.

Easily chips and lifts off nail
Unfortunately, the gel does not last as long as described. I have used other gel brands before and I directly followed the instructions on the box. My nails have began to peel/chip the same day as applications after a shower. Does not have a long wear time, but does look good before it begins to lift.

Save your money!
Attempted to do my nails twice and both times they lasted less than 24hrs. I followed the instructions step by step. I also tried once with polish and once with just the base & top coat and neither stayed. Started peeling off within a few hours. Totally disappointed!

Wanted to love it…
I love that I can get a gel manicure anytime, at home but I haven’t been able to make the gel polish last more than 7 days, even if I don’t use the easy-peel base. The last time I tried, the polish started to lift after just 3 days. I wanted to love this but it left me disappointed.

Not worth the $
I was very disappointment that the gel LED lamp is not cordless. The gel polish is thick and sticky and hard to get even as you “paint” your nails, especially if they’re not very long. For me the gel kit was not worth what I paid even on sale.
