  • A: Great question! We don’t recommend adding any polish thinner to gel polish, as it can affect the formula and how it cures. Instead, a couple of safe ways to improve consistency are: gently rolling the bottle between your hands (instead of shaking), and if it feels very thick, letting the sealed bottle sit in warm water for a few minutes to loosen it up before use.

  • A: The wattage is 15 watts when used with our cord and recommended power source. If you are using something lower that will mean the wattage consumed is lower and the UV intensity produced is lower and it may not properly cure so we recommend 15W.

    Either doesn’t last a day or ruins your nails

    I’ve had this for a few months and tried different methods of application and it’s officially going into the trash. If I use the gel polish as instructed and even as instructed online, it will peel off with 12-24 hrs. If I don’t use it then the sides will peel off after a week and eventually when I use their products to safely remove the gel it will peel your nails off. My nails were strong before using this product and now they are flaking and brittle. Do not purchase this product.

    After years of gel manicures, I thought I knew what to expect with a new product. Explain to me how the TOP COAT burned like it was setting my fingertips on fire?!? I’ve experienced the burn with a base coat and with builder gel, but never a top coat. The following day, all the color polish had crackled underneath the top coat, and within 36 hours, multiple nails began to peel off. Definitely not worth the price.

    The Jury is Still Out

    Cute for like 2 days before they fall off...

    I’ve found that the gel polish with the peelable nail polish really doesn’t last longer than a day. I had painted my nails for a week-long vacation the day before leaving, and by day 3 I had only 5 fingers with nail polish still on it. By day 4, they were all gone. I followed the tips and tricks that come in the box. If anyone has come across this problem and has resolved it, I’d be interested in hearing it.

It makes for easy shiny manicures that look great. My only issue was that the cord in the UV lamp is very short. Also the manicures definitely don’t last as long as salon manis, but I’ve been able to wear the peel off base ones for a week and the non peeling manicures for almost ten days.

    Loved until the polish clumped

    I purchased the Gel Mani System less than a year ago, and I absolutely loved it at first. Unfortunately, after about 8–9 months, all six of the gel polishes I purchased have become thick and clumpy, making them unusable. The only product that still works is the Peel Base Coat. I was really impressed with these polishes initially, but I can’t justify purchasing them again if they only last a few months before clumping. I’m very disappointed, as I expected them to have a much longer shelf life.

    Easy to use and long lasting!
