A: Great question! We don’t recommend adding any polish thinner to gel polish, as it can affect the formula and how it cures. Instead, a couple of safe ways to improve consistency are: gently rolling the bottle between your hands (instead of shaking), and if it feels very thick, letting the sealed bottle sit in warm water for a few minutes to loosen it up before use.

I am Pleased!
I am new to the world of gel nails, so I was super grateful to see all of Olive and June’s bundle options. I purchased the Gel Mani System + Builder Gel Kit, and I now basically have my own mini nail salon lol. The cost was the same as getting my nails done once, so that’s a steal in my eyes! I did my own gel nails for the first time ever yesterday after watching O&J YouTube videos, and I am so happy with how they turned out.

Peel off base coat is game changer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thought I’d give the kit a shot since it’ll pay for itself after 2 uses. Really pleased with the quality of everything and step by step instructions. It took me 2 hours (no exaggeration) to remove the existing gel manicure I had on. The peel off base coat made ALL THE DIFFERENCE. My first manicure lasted about 2 weeks and I think I could get it to last longer with practice. The bail polished peeled off easily and without pulling my nail off with it. Very pleased and excited to collect more colors.

I even did my mom’s nails when I visited her. It’s easy enough to learn and have great looking nails. I’m hoping the hard protection will help my nails that easily shear also.

But as I can’t afford to continuously get them done at the salon or take the time to leave my kids to do so and was just searching for a better option when I came across the gel mini system. I did not have a lot of expectations because usually things are too good to be true, but I was so pleasantly surprised when I did manicures at home that were lasting through the everyday life of dishes and all of the Mom things. I just got more colors for fall, I am so excited I will be using nothing else! This is such a game changer and my preteen loves it as well. It’s so great for your fingers and toes. Either doesn’t last a day or ruins your nails
I’ve had this for a few months and tried different methods of application and it’s officially going into the trash. If I use the gel polish as instructed and even as instructed online, it will peel off with 12-24 hrs. If I don’t use it then the sides will peel off after a week and eventually when I use their products to safely remove the gel it will peel your nails off. My nails were strong before using this product and now they are flaking and brittle. Do not purchase this product.

After years of gel manicures, I thought I knew what to expect with a new product. Explain to me how the TOP COAT burned like it was setting my fingertips on fire?!? I’ve experienced the burn with a base coat and with builder gel, but never a top coat. The following day, all the color polish had crackled underneath the top coat, and within 36 hours, multiple nails began to peel off. Definitely not worth the price.
