A: Great question, Taylor! To remove Olive & June gel polish, file the top coat, saturate a sponge with acetone, place the sponge in a silicone cap with your nail, and soak for 10-15 minutes. If you used their Peel-Off Base Coat, you can peel off the gel polish. If using their Super Stick, peel off the Super Stick nail. I am tough on my hands and do a lot of dishes and wash my hands a lot with a newborn in the house. I must say that olive and June gel is just as strong and lasts just as long as the powder gel from the salon! It is easy to apply and I’ve had it on for over 2 weeks and I have not had one chip yet! I am totally converted and will visit the salon much less often! Great product highly recommend. The peel off base coat however can not get wet AT all and if it does it indicates peels.

I love olive and June nail polishes so I thought I’d give this kit a try. Would not buy it ever again. The gel was not curing under the UV lamp no matter what I did. I tried applying the thinnest of layers and still no cure. Sad it didn’t work out but I guess you get what you pay for.

This is not a professional gel mani, nor is it as hard on your nails like a regular gel mani as salon gel mani can weaken nails. This is a great alternative, costs less than a salon mani as well. Lasts a little over a week, am very pleased overall

Total waste of time and money. I bought this kit because I love the regular (non gel polish) that this brand makes as it dries quickly and lasts so long, however this kit along with their gel polishes are horrible!! I followed the instructions completely and the polish actually peeled off within a few hours of applying it (and I was not in a pool, or doing any heavy work). Also, after the polish cures under the lamp, it becomes VERY STICKY so you have to let it air dry as well without touching ANYTHING. I am so sorry that I bought this.

It’s easy to use, feels like a special treat to myself, and lasts forever! My only complaint is that it will take me forever to try all the colors since each manicure lasts so long!
