Truly disappointed
I was really excited to try out this gel polish. Such fun and beautiful colors! The formal isn’t super thick and very manageable. Cleans up well too if you make a mistake. But, I’ve prepped my nails and all and it simply won’t cure. It stays tacky and will not dry. So disappointed because the colors really are fantastic.

When I was ready to remove it some of the color wouldn’t come off my nails. I never had these problems using the colored polish without a base coat.

I have been searching for a better gel product after the other brand I used started sending old products. I had used O&J for regular polish, so I thought it would give them a try. This product is on level l, if not better, than most professional graded products. My nails last for weeks! My husband will usually ask why I am doing my nails because they still look so good. It's usually because I am bored with the color and need a change.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving my Olive & June gel set up. Their tutorial video on social media was really helpful. I can get 2 weeks for sure out of a gel mani, maybe 3 weeks. Beats 2-3 days with regular polish. I don’t use the peel off base- it made my mani bubble and peel in first few days- even when applying hardly any. I am rough on my nails and frequently washing my hands. I also use the gel on my toe and can get solid 3 weeks at least. I can’t do too much outgrowth- for those who can, could get longer.

I haven’t mastered the peel-off base yet, so this traditional method works better for me. I added a tube of sunscreen to my supplies basket so I protect my fingers each time.

The gel set was just what I needed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the gel base, gel polish and gel top coat for a few weeks now, and I really am enjoying them. I don't always use the peel off base anymore because the polish doesn't seem to last as long when I do, and still peals off fine when its time to redo them. I like the thickness of all the gels -helps protect my nails. I assume I'll get better and better at applying, as sometimes it is a little bumpy. Looking forward to ordering more colors soon.

It works!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I had a hysterectomy 13 years ago I haven’t been able to wear any nail polish that lasts more than a few days…even O&J long lasting polishes. They would last longer on my left hand but not my right. I tried gel polishes with the lamp and still wouldn’t stay on. I finally thought I’ll give O&J a chance with their gel polishes. As of today, I’m going into my third week of applying the gel and the base and topcoat and it’s still going strong. I honestly can’t believe it and I’m so happy I found them!
