A: Great question, Taylor! To remove Olive & June gel polish, file the top coat, saturate a sponge with acetone, place the sponge in a silicone cap with your nail, and soak for 10-15 minutes. If you used their Peel-Off Base Coat, you can peel off the gel polish. If using their Super Stick, peel off the Super Stick nail. The idea of it was too good to be true and that turns out to be the case unfortunately. I was afraid to get a gel set because I’ve experienced nail damage in the past. The peel off does peel off but unfortunately not when you want it to. It would just come off at random times in the 2-3 days after doing it. I am trying it now without the peel off base but no doubt my nails will be harmed. Also not sure if it’s the polish or LED light but the it’s still tacky after the recommended drying time. I’m disappointed

The gel will peel off without damaging your nails but it will not last 21 days, more like 24 hrs. Also, the product made my nails burn under the lamp which is not a good sign!

Takes much longer to get the gel to set with the light than advertised. Also, you could see where it wasn’t adhered to my nails in many places. Additionally, several of my nails started chipping within about 12 hours. And 8 of those hours I was asleep. Will be returning.

Love the kit. The instructional pages included were super helpful to figure out how to use the kit: the order of application, curing times, etc. I was worried about what to do until I saw those pages included. There were even some extra little tips to help make application better. The only thing I haven't learned to love yet is the peel base. It seems to be extremely temporary. The manicure didn't last more than a day or two. We're still troubleshooting this - it may be our error, but so far it doesn't seem like it. I love having the polish remover brush. I always wanted to get one of these and never picked one up over the years. Also, the polish remover pot is super cute and handy.

I have been looking for a healthier option for my nails. The kit was very easy to use with detailed instructions. My manicure lasted about a week. I did the best I could removing the gel but my nails were still destroyed which was a bummer. I’m going to try to easy removal gel next base coat next time and hope for better results.

I have tried the system twice now and followed all steps including prep. Both times the gel has stayed on decent for a few days but then begins to come up. I then follow the steps to remove it appropriately. I would not be upset if it was not completely stripping my nails and thinning them out. They are so weak after using the product.

I ordered this kit for curbside delivery. It did not come with the cuticle pusher and prep pad that was advertised. The box was covered in smudged and tacky nail polish. A piece of tape was on the box. It seems like the item was returned. I’m unsatisfied with Target’s service.

I really wanted to love this set. At first, the manicure looked amazing. But less than a few hours later the whole gel layer (all of the layers) was lifting away from my nail. I tried a second time, making sure that I put the layers on really light and still the same thing happened. If it had stayed, this would be a 5 star review. The polish is nice looking and so is the uv lamp.

The gel kit caused my skin to burn. Within the first 24 hours, I developed small bubbles and swollen fingers. After about five days, the skin hardened and appeared to have blood beneath the surface. I'm unsure if it was an allergic reaction, but I won't be purchasing again. The colors are okay, but they appear more vibrant and seamless on the website photos compared to how they look on the nails.

This was an easy way to start the dive into doing a gel manicure at home in an approachable way. Since I’ve started using this, my nails have never been longer or stronger.
