A: Great question, Taylor! To remove Olive & June gel polish, file the top coat, saturate a sponge with acetone, place the sponge in a silicone cap with your nail, and soak for 10-15 minutes. If you used their Peel-Off Base Coat, you can peel off the gel polish. If using their Super Stick, peel off the Super Stick nail. The base coat doesnt cure, and everything is so thick its impossible to apply a thin layer so my fingernails look like huge bubbles, the peel off base coat mani i did peeled off in less than a day……. im not giving up but im frustrated.

I really like the gel polish system but I'm not completely sold. It does stay on and doesn't chip. The colors are beautiful and great quality. The polish is a bit thicker and runny. It's difficult to keep it away from the edges of your skin. The tools do help with clean up and it gets easier with practice but I still find a few spots where excess causes it to lift around the skin. I'm only getting maybe a little over a week before I find it coming up at the edges. It takes a long time to soak off, which I don't mind but I would like it to last a bit longer for all the effort that goes into applying and removing. It's got a lot of potential but maybe could use a little adjustment.

My honest review. I just purchased this morning, because I bought other gel polish earlier this week without realizing it was gel and couldn’t get it to dry no matter what I did. Currently using it rn and I am amazed. I used the base coat and top coat from the kit but used the other color polish I previously bought and it is working amazing! Drying easily and very easy to use. Also I am not a nail tech so please don’t come at me for the paint job lol

This doesn’t save time necessarily, because it’s the same process and you’re doing it yourself but it does cost a lot less and you don’t have to drive to the salon! The peel off base coat is a game changer. Lasts over a week and very minimal damage when removed. Highly recommend!

Didn’t even get to use because the light turned on once when I initially plugged it in and never again. Tried unplugging and re-plugging. Tried holding the button down. Tried plugging into a different outlet. Disappointed.

The first time I used it, It took a while to set the coats of polish. The next time I used it, I could not get the polish to dry. I looked for a number to call and did not find one. Feel like I wasted my money.

I really like this system. The results are beautiful and lasting. I also appreciate that the polish is clean. However, if you happen to have a gel skin sensitivity, this polish will still produce the same reaction as other cheaper/more toxic gel polishes so don’t get it on your skin!

I've only had the gel polish on for a few days but it's staying nicely with the regular gel base coat. The peel off base coat did not work for me. A couple nails peeled that same day and several others peeled off the next day. So when I tried the system again, I used the standard base coat without the peel off one and it seems to be working. I do love all the support with the YouTube videos and instructions. And I like how the kit includes everything that is needed! I haven't used the salon-speed soak off kit yet so I can't review it, but I will after I used it
