This Glide Pro-Health Deep Clean (Cool Mint) floss version in the gray box is very sharp and causes my gums to bleed every time it's used. It's painful, shreds apart almost instantly so there are lots of uneven and unwoven threads, plus is stickier so you end up trying to use a lot of it daily. The quality is definitely nothing like the one I was looking for or was hoping to get (the older, smoother, and stronger Glide Pro-Health Advanced Fresh Mint in the blue case which is harder to find nowadays). Will not buy this version ever again and do not recommend to customers looking for that other Glide formula.

I’m not sure what happened to this dental floss, but it is literally like flossing with a plastic bag. I’ve used this brand for years and clearly they are just cutting corners and trying to be cheap. I can’t imagine the amount of microplastics going into people’s systems when using this product. Fail.

So incredibly disappointed in the new change. This was the best and only floss I'd use for years and it wasn't great on the wallet either but WAS worth the price. NOW?! it's complete trash. Such a waste of money and I don't understand why they changed it. It's like plastic between my teeth and hardly grabs any plaque like the older one. Wish I could get my money back. I can confidently say I will never purchase this one again.

Materials have changed and this floss and glide flossers are both terrible now. Have used this floss for years and all of a sudden it’s rigid and brittle breaking between my teeth and getting stuck. It is so annoying! I’m afraid to floss every night because it’s such a struggle and it shouldn’t be! I returned it for a replacement. Hopefully the one they send is not the same.

Horrible. Used to be amazing, but now basically every package is literal garbage. It’s not just the floss itself, but the package is flimsier and the writing on the package is lower quality. No idea what’s going on. It feels like flossing with the ribbon you use when wrapping presents. It’s impossible to get through my teeth and it feels like it’s literally scraping my enamel off. When i do manage to get it through my teeth, no matter how delicately i try to floss, it feels like it’s stabbing my gums whenever it hits them. It makes them bleed. Also has a much different taste. It feels like a legitimate health hazard. I don’t know if the floss will ever return to normal, but I doubt it. Never purchasing it again.

This version is Terrible compared to the "PRO HEALTH" Deep Clean Floss that they used to make. I dont know why they got rid of that BETTER Floss and replaced it with this WORST one!! (I can only imagine it has something to do with making more profits). Well let me tell you the way to make more profits isn't to replace your high quality product with an INFERIOR one!! This one does not work like the other one, it feels horrible. Im very disappointed that Oral B would get rid of a their best dental floss. Explain that one to me??! Shame on the greedy corporate suits that made this decision.

I don't recommend! One of the many things I have against it is its material. I know for a fact they changed it and switched it with something else, and it's hard to find a good grip when you're using. Of course you would have to wrap it around your finger but sometimes I find it slipping out of my fingers.

Ensure you have enough for a good grip by using 18 inches of floss, then wrapping most of it around one of your middle fingers. Wind the remaining floss around the same finger of the opposite hand. Hold the floss tightly between your thumbs and forefingers, while guiding the floss between your teeth using a gentle, rubbing motion. Floss was changed. They removed a chemical to make it safer. In turn though, it feels like I am flossing with a piece of plastic. My gums were left bloody and it hurt. The old floss felt soft and gentle. This new floss is literal plastic. Do not buy.
