I’ve used this floss for years and it was a ribbon style that really worked well. My last purchase was a shocker. The formula is a plastic material that I will NOT USE or buy ever again. It’s got to be highly toxic and I definitely won’t use it on my teeth so I’m throwing all 3 packages in the trash where they belong. I would NOT recommend to anyone now that they have completely changed this product.

Disappointed in my recent three pack purchase of Oral B Glide Pro Health Deep Clean Floss. Evidently the structure of the floss had been revamped to remove any possible pfas chemicals. By doing so the floss is more like a hardened plastic that no longer slides easily between my teeth. I would think with the deep pockets of P&G’s R&D they would have developed a similar product using silk or bamboo. Sadly thing change has caused me to look elsewhere for a suitable replacement. I’m now happily using Dr. Jung’s Smart Floss.

this used to be such a smooth, fine floss. it would literally “glide” between the teeth. now it’s hard and plastic-y with no stretch to it. and my least favorite— it gets all curly towards the end of the spool. i hate it! no longer brand loyal. time to find a new favorite floss…

I’ve been buying this floss for many years and was totally satisfied with it as it was designed. But unknown to me, they recently changed everything about it and now it’s horrible and unusable. The material is thin, flat, tough, cheap plastic that doesn’t clean, hurts my gums, and has no mint flavoring. It doesn’t even seem like something that belongs in a person’s mouth. It’s basically like the plastic that is attached to women’s tops that are used to anchor them to hangers. So disappointing. Avoid at all cost.

I've been using this floss for over 15 years. It used to be this wide, thin floss that slide between my very narrow teeth spaces and around implants. It is now unrecognizable. It is thin and very tough, it is uncomfortable for my gums and won't fit between some of my teeth. Why would you change the best floss on market?? I hope another company comes out with a dupe soon or that Oral B changes back to original floss.

Like all the other recent reviewers have said, this "new and improved" version is awful, I can't even use it. It shreds like crazy, it hurts pretty badly (feels like it's cutting my gums!), even just opening and pulling the floss out you can see and feel the difference and it feels like this weird plasticy texture I was super suspicious of. Absolutely unusable.
