OtterBox DEFENDER SERIES case for Samsung Galaxy S22 - Fort Blue (77-86359)

I have always bought and will continue to buy the Defender Pro Drop+ case for every smartphone I purchase because it is a quality product that protects my phone through all the challenges of working construction. My only complaint is the inevitable loss of the small flap that covers the charging port after substantial use. I think this element could be engineered better.

The phone comes unfastined easily just what you buy outterbox to prevent. Put the quality back.

My Galaxy S22 was starting to come apart. I put it the Otter Box and now the phone is much more stable and safe from getting damaged if I drop it.

I have one of your cases for my S23. unfortunately, I dropped it the water and thought it was toast. I found this very skilled and talented phone repair shop and they fixed it so that is why I no longer need the S22 case. Your cases are perfect in every aspect of quality. This case is way better than the other one I purchased. I had an otterbox, but it was made different. This one is so much nicer and protects my phone better. Very happy with my purchase. I like the blue case I bought.

The Defender series case is the best phone case any one could own! This case protects your phone!!! I hope Otterbox never stops selling this case, because it is the only one I will use!!! Great case!!!

I have never cracked my phone when dropped. I swear by the defender. Recently I took off in my car with my phone on the roof. It flew off and the defender protected it from shattering. The back of phone was cracked in 2 corners. I was able to still use the phone. Thank you otterbox defender!

Look, as I write this review, I'll be buying this case for a second time. Word for word, this is what I wrote when I placed a new order for the warranty was: "I dropped my phone from the edge of my bed one day (lower than waist height, about 70cms), and my case broke at the edge even though the phone fell flat on its face. I had the case for less than a month at the time (I got a new phone the same day), and I had never dropped it prior to this. " The hard plastic took a big hit on the edge for some reason, and I was completely baffled. This would make the second Otterbox case I had to replace in less than three years. I'm not big on the outdoors or anything, so it's even more disappointing. I've been buying from this company since before I even knew about their policies, so I'm willing to try again with them. I really did enjoy their cases on my other phone (and the replacement they sent for that one is holding up through a sticky two-year-old!). However, I'll be submitting a complaint if I have to deal with a SECOND broken phone case this time next year (or any time before then).

I am bad with forgetting I have a phone. I left my phone on top of a work truck and had my phone fly off going 85 mph. My phone survived and was recovered all due to otterbox!

I love Otterbox. I always have a Otterbox case on just about every phone I have ever owned. But I have noticed something different with how the holster functions. The little notch that clicks the phone into the holster is not in the dead center anymore.The way I wear it makes the phone sit in the wrong way for me. I have to put it in with the buttons up so that I can answer with my right hand. That was never an issue before. The phone is still secure and safe. But I'm used to that CLICK sound. I find myself checking my phone a lot to make sure the holster doesn't push the buttons. And I really wish that you guys offered more colors for the Defender series! I love black true enough, but I wanted to spice it up with a nice burgundy case. I ended up getting purple. Close, but no cigar!!! But I still love you guys and will continue to buy these awesome cases! Thank you very much for being nothing but awesome!!!

Great protection for your work phone, do not have to worry about drops

The case sustained significant impact at moderate speed but minimal damage to phone itself. Two thumbs up!

I've used Otter Box cases on my phones since putting a case on a smartphone became a thing. This is my first time writing a review for one. Overall, this case is great. It will protect your phone from damage by being dropped (or even inadvertently thrown, which I've done), and the extra height it adds over the screen and camera lenses+flashlight prevents them from being scratched. There are only two things about this case that bother me. The first problem COULD decrease its level of protection, the second is a design choice that is not necessarily on Otter Box. First: The rubber outer part of the case from the lowest camera lens all the way around to the LED flashlight loosens over time and exposes the hard plastic. It falls back into place 99% of the time, but I can imagine a scenario where the loose outer rubber case is quickly pulled from a pocket or bag, dropped, then it hits the hard plastic interior casing, delivering more shock to the device its protecting. Second: The USB-C charging port doesn't fit a standard compact USB-C to USB-A adapter. This is a minor thing for the majority of people, and can be mitigated with a short USB-C extension. This isn't and Otter Box issue, here. It's just something I noticed. See attached photos for reference.

This case was easy to put on phone. Very sturdy. Highly recommend

As expected, tough as nails Defender case but no screen protector. I really liked the screen protector from my previous four Defenders I owned and was disappointed this had no screen protector. I did actually drop it from height onto concrete, it landed on one corner and bounced once and settled face-down. No damage.

Sturdy and easy to hold on to. Love the removable clip/stand too! Worth the investment to extend the life expectancy and use of my phone.

Not a fan of this new case for the S22. I have owned many OtterBox cases as I work commercial construction and they all have outlasted the phones in most cases. This case however is loose on the phone body, and most annoying the phone can only click into the holder one way as the buttons on the phone get in the way of clicking it in from both sides. I've already had the phone pop out of the case twice. Once while belly crawling through an attic space and was unable to take photos once I reached my destination, because I had no phone. I had to back track my way back out searching for the phone the whole time. Not impressed.

Well-made, durable. I feel phone is well protected so I don't have to worry.

The rubber keeps pulling away. Like its notbas secure as it should be.
