This has been a nightmare. Constantly logs out, requires hours of troubleshooting and contacting customer service, you must have 2.4 ghz wifi so crosses on wifi constantly and app acts irregularly. They need to work out the bugs on this expensive device. Wish I would have bought another type or brand. I hate this thing.

We love our Owlet — it gives us such peace of mind as first-time parents. Aside from the O2 and heart rate stats, I appreciate the “movement” feature, letting us know if our baby is wiggly or peaceful. I think that will be especially useful in determining if he’s awake/active once he moves from the bassinet in our room to the crib in his nursery.

The sock is doesn’t give consistent readings. If you open and close the app in one second you’ll get something different. The design of the sick makes it move and not get readings and will beep all night on you

We were gifted the dream sock from our friends based in the UK (we live in South Africa) but were hugely disappointed to learn once the sock arrived that the app is unavailable in our country; luckily we can still use the sock by only using the base station but obviously we would love to have full function with the app included - when will the app be available in South Africa?

Our baby boy is a preemie so having this sock was an extra peace of mind. It was working wonderfully for 3 weeks then it started malfunctioning. It keeps alerting us of a "sock placement issue" when the sock is placed perfectly! We cleaned the sock according to instructions and everything but it still keeps waking us and baby up all night!

This helped me sleep at night. Granted, I'm a first time mom so my anxiety was of the roof but I love this and would buy it 10 times over if I had to. I haven't has any false alarms so far and I like seeing how much sleep my baby is getting

Just to start, I have absolutely loved this device up until today. I have been using this since the day my baby was born and had zero issues. Out of the blue, the app stopped displaying sleep data for each nap/sleep session and doesn’t show anything in the history tab. I have tried EVERYTHING! Resetting the base station, unplugging the base station, cleaning the sock monitor itself, restarting my phone, logging off and back into the app, and nothing has worked. The app still shows live readings but I have absolutely no way to track my baby’s sleep. There is no update available and my phone is updated to the latest IOS version. This is ridiculous as we rely HEAVILY on this for sleep tracking. For how expensive this product is you would think any bugs or glitches in the app would be fixed immediately ESPECIALLY with this being considered a medical item. Also for the icing on the cake, owlet doesn’t have live support on the weekends so I’ve been on my own since end of day Friday when this started. Below are pictures of what I’m talking about. As you can see, the session length so far is 6h and 21m. The live health readings are fine (THANKFULLY), but when you go to the history tab there is NOTHING! I’ve been having to watch the app like a hawk in order to input my baby’s sleep manually. Owlet needs to fix this immediately. And if they can’t, I expect to be compensated as it is not doing what it is marketed to do.

I got this as a gift, and thank goodness I did. I would be so disappointed if I had bought this myself. Don't get me wrong, it has some good features. I like how it can evaluate sleep status, which was somewhat helpful in distinguishing those nighttime newborn grunts. However the non-essential beeping notifications are useless, and just wake up my baby. There's no way to control them or the volume, and nine times out of ten it's being triggered by me trying to soothe my baby. So you can imagine how frustrating it is to just barely have your baby drifting to sleep, just to have this beep at you and ruin your progress. In the end, I only used this for about a month before it wasn't worth it anymore. It's not worth my jeopardizing baby's sleep.

The owlet was super great, worked perfect for 3 months no issues then randomly one night in the middle of the night stopped working. The WiFi won’t even pop up as an option to connect to. I troubleshoot everything form the base to the sock to deleting and readding but it will not work. The owlet Wi-Fi continually won’t even pop up to connect to

The owlet sock is really helpful at easing your mind by letting you see the heart rate and oxygen levels and it should alert you if those numbers drop too low. I also like how you can see the sleep patterns. The things I don’t like or that drive me crazy are if your baby is really small or their foot is really skinny the socks don’t stay on well and gives false alerts. I also don’t like how the app takes forever to read when placing the sock on and at least every other time we put the sock on it gives “sock placement error” and the Bluetooth range isn’t that great.

Priceless for any child regardless to health status. We had the first owlet sock from 2020 which caught a major oxygen desaturation due to poor neck positioning during the first week with our first born. Used our old owlet for the first 2 months with our second baby in 2025. Needed to purchase the new sock due to battery issues with the old version. Upon delivery the new owlet sock didn’t work and we had to wait for a new sock to be delivered. Other than that the owlet sock is truly priceless. If anything were to happen you would wish you for the chance to buy one a billion times over. To note, the sock also caught a high heat rate in our second born on his 3rd night home. The sock doesn’t have “false alarms”. Only has trouble if baby kicks it around too much. The sock is very reliable and the battery lasts more than 14-15 hours. In addition to safety reasons I like the sock for sleep pattern information (how many nighttime wakes, duration).

Love the owlet and it is such a peace of mind after my baby was in the NICU. We haven’t had any “false” alarms but I dislike that the base is always on. We had to hide it under a blanket otherwise we can’t keep our room dark. There should be an option to have the light off and just have it come on with the alarm if needed.

The owlet brings me peace of mind to monitor her oxygen levels. I have a very active baby and that causes signal issues sometimes. Also I have to keep the base in the same room as the sock or it loses connection. Other than those two things, I highly recommend the sock. I dont have the camera or the subscription.
