Q: Does it work on colors or will it leave a white spot? Do you scrub the stain out or just let it sit? How long do you let it sit before washing?

A: This will work on all colors, without leaving any spots. Scrubbing will help insure the stain is removed, but you do not have to scrub. Let it sit at least 5 minutes.
submitted bytpaul - 6 years agoA: Yes it will work on colors and white fabric. The last time I used it was I lost my 2 toenails and I didn’t know it. Sickening I know but when I noticed it I reached for my handy oxi clean and it the blood right out of my sheet and it had soaked right on to my quilt that my Grandmother made me several years ago. So you know how much I panicked. But on the other hand I wasn’t worried about it because I only use this product and it hasn’t failed me yet. Takes out the stains without discoloring any fabric that I’ve used it on. You won’t go wrong by using this. You’ll be so shocked how well it works

A: It can, but for rust I would recommend using Whink Rust Stain Remover. There is no more effective product for removing rust than this.

A: Hi, LS, OxiClean Stain Remover Spray can be used to remove bowel stains. However, I would recommend the use of OxiClean Odor Blasters Stain Remover (powder or liquid) which would be better at removing both the stain and odor. Thank You

Gets out most NEW stains if treated immediately. If you don't discover the stain until laundry day, not as effective. Also, HIGHLY recommend pretreatment and let it set for at least a few hours BEFORE you wash the garment. Check the spot BEFORE you put in the dryer or you may set the stain forever.

This is a good product. Yes I agree the scent stinks and spraying the solution sure doesn't help! However, my only issue. Why is this in a spray bottle anyways? Why can't it be in a squeeze container? I put my item in the wash tub lay it down and then try to spray the stain downward. Doesn't quite work like that stupid bottle needs to be upright to get anything out. Put it in a squeeze bottle and make me happy or force me to go to your competition.

I have tried all laundry stain brands in the store. Nothing has every worked at getting out stains on the bottom of socks, grease stains on a shirt, who knows what stains on clothings. I gave all of my other stains remover bottles and now only use OxiClean Max Force.

WHY?! Why does this and most other laundry stain removers and for that matter, so many other laundry products have to be scented? It's a STAIN REMOVER!. It should be putting nothing INTO my clothes, not color, not 'good vibes', not scent! What logic is this? And the scent is so strong in this product that my laundry room, next room, and whole load of laundry stunk after it was done - and I only treated 2 small stains on 2 articles of clothing in a full load. Plus, I'm a guy. I don't want anything I'm wearing to smell like fruit or flowers! Unacceptable. I won't be purchasing/using this again, and the remainder of my existing bottle will be disposed of. At least it removed one of the stains.
