Description
Help remove odor-causing residues in your washing machine with OxiClean Washing Machine Cleaner with Odor Blasters. If you've noticed odors on your clothes, your washing machine might be the cause. These pre-measured pouches combine Odor Blasters with the power of OxiClean to clean your washing machine, remove odors, and help keep it smelling fresh. To use, tear one washer cleaner pouch and toss into an empty washer without clothes or other items. Select the Clean Washer Cycle and run the machine without laundry detergent. If the washer doesn’t have a Clean Washer Cycle, run in a normal hot water cycle. After the cycle is complete, wipe away any remaining residue with a towel and leave the washing machine door open to allow better ventilation. For maintenance, use OxiClean washing machine cleaner once a month to help keep your HE or standard washing machine looking and smelling clean. For existing odors and residues, use once a week for three consecutive weeks, then once a month thereafter for maintenance. Q: How different is this product from regular Oxyclean? Could I use regular Oxyclean for the same purpose as this product or this is superior to clean washing machine?

A: I just compared ingredients. The Oxiclean White Revive has all the same ingredients, plus protease enzyme, amylase enzyme, Disodium Distyryl., Disulfate. I will try using it instead of buying the washer cleaner. The cleaner packs contain 2.82 ounces. Maybe I will weigh it to get the same amount? ~3 ounces.

A: Hi,jlo, The product contains Oxygen Bleach which is typically color-safe but we recommend testing our products on an inconspicuous area of the clothing item before using since some clothing items may not be made from colorfast fabrics. The description on Target's website states the product is unscented. In fact the product has a strong fragrance. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until after I put it into my machine. Looked at the packaging and sure enough, they list fragrances as an ingredient. Please fix your website description, Target!

Couldn’t tell a difference between before and after using this? I did not see any changes visually that would indicate the washer was cleaner than before. I don’t see how this is different from using regular oxi clean, I would just run an empty load with detergent and a scoop of Oxi. I would not re purchase this specially product again.

I always repurchase this washing machine booster and stock up when it’s on sale! I love that you just pour the packet into the washing machine and turn it onto the clean setting and it refreshes it. Ever since having a baby I do so much more laundry and it gets gross much faster and this helps give it a little refresh in between loads

Am I the only one that was today years old when I found out that washing machines need to be cleaned, too?? Yeah, well, when I started washing my clothes and finding lint deposits on them that only got there AFTER washing them, and bits of dirt from other dirty laundry loads sticking around the washer itself, I was recommended a washing machine cleaner tab. Pop it in on the hottest setting with the largest load and let it run through the cycle with a deep rinse and your machine will be like brand new. As with all OxiClean products, I am impressed, invested, and fully committed to this brand as a loyal, clearly satisfied customer.

This seems to clean the washer well. Our washer starts to smell and makes the laundry smell after awhile but this always gets it back on track. It has a fresh scent - and even though I'm not a huge fan of scent in laundry products right now - it's not offensive.
