Q: Where in the dishwasher do you place the mat, top or bottom shelf. Do you lay it in open or rolled?

A: Hello! Thank you for your question! We recommend placing the Silicone Mat on the top shelf of the dishwasher. When washing, you do want the mat to be opened to be sure the entire mat is cleaned.

Q: What are the measurements with horizontal and width, it doesn't note, my kohlor is 16.25 left to right, and 14 from top.to bottom with the sink whole opening at the top when facing the sink.

Q: Do you have to cut the drain hole or can you leave it as is? If you leave it as is, will it eventually tear on its own or will it just remain and not get cut out on its own. somehow? Thank you.

A: Hi Lucy! Thanks for your question. You can use our Silicone Sink Mat as is. You do not need to cut out the hole for the drain, but it is an option for this mat. The Sink Mat will not tear in these areas, as the mat would need to be physically cut to get the hole for the drain. I hope this helps!

Q: my sink drain is at the rear of my sink and I need this larger mat. is there a way that I can cut the drain hole at the smaller side of this mat? it appears that it can only be cut in the center.

A: The mat is designed to provide drain opening options in the front, middle and rear of the sink. However, if the mat is in a portrait orientation as opposed to landscape, the drain openings are only across the middle.

I had a smaller OXO sink mat but this newer one fits my entire sink. Love the material and it does not stain. I did not cut for drain. Also love that it is dishwasher safe. Love Oxo!

This mat replaced a clear, flower-patterned sink mat that had Clorox-resistant mold in between the pattern seams. This mat is made from a firm, piece of plastic that is easy to keep clean.

I'm so glad I found this. It is the perfect size for the larger side of my split kitchen sink, which means my dishes are more protected. It's sturdy and can also withstand the heat of a hot pan/pot/skillet. What's not to love? (Not a thing!)

My only complaint about this sink mat is that I wish it sat a bit taller off the bottom of the sink so that food could run more easily under it. I agree with another reviewer that food gets stuck underneath it, and I have to clean underneath it every night. But I loved that it was customizable because our sink has the drain in a weird spot and it was impossible to find a mat that fit it properly. The silicone material makes it easy to clean, and I throw it in the dishwasher occasionally just to disinfect it.

I like this to protect our sink from scratches. It does require lifting up to remove food for cleaning, but not really an issue. Needed it a little bigger for my one tub sink.

Not too impressed. I wish they made these longer to start. The problem with this, is that is doesn’t sit high enough off sink bottom. That means any food items get trapped constantly in it. You have to pick it up, and since it, and sometimes scrub it to get everything off. Not just occasionally, but every time! I had a hard plastic one before that was better in that sense.
