Was highly rated but we bought it on May 13 and by June 9th it no loger works. The display shows error code "H98" which means "the oven's power supply has failed." Called support and now we have to get it serviced at an authorized service center. Luckily it was still under warranty

Faulty Door Mechanism
This worked great until it didn’t. We’ve owned it for less than a year and the button to open it stopped working.

Inverter Issues With This Model
Stopped working after 4 months. The inverter failed. Error code H98. This is a common error for this machine so go with another model if you want longevity.

Major FAIL from Panasonic. Three months after purchase, door won't open (yes, the child-lock is disabled). Read reviews here and elsewhere, this is a very common problem with this microwave. This replaced a trusty 8 year old Panasonic. Quality has gone way downhill. Door problem aside, the control panel is overly complicated and difficult to read in most lighting. Overall bad design. Just disposed of mine and replaced with a Toshiba. Done with Panasonic.

Worked for 7 months
Powerful while it lasted. It cooked well while it lasted. I didn't have any issues disabling the child lock feature. It was louder but not a real issue for me. I was saddened when it stopped heating. I tried unplugging it when I got the error message "88:88" and that reset the display but it won't heat anything anymore. The turntable still turns and it sounds like it's on but no heating. I'm going to try a different brand next.

Quality microwave, solid performer
Cooks fast and evenly. Doesn't take up a lot of counterspce, but has a good sized interior and 13.4" turntable. Other reviews mentioned the child-proof lock. The instructions to turn off that feature are right on the door. It's easy and you only have to do once. IDK what their problem was (reading, maybe?). The only thing I'd change about this microwave is to have a back-lit panel. But at the price ($169) it's still quite a bargain.

Hard to opetate.
While the microwave is highly rated and seems to be very powerful, it does not have some of the basic quick instructions are terrible goes into great detail for functions. Nobody ever uses, bit doesnot explain the simple ones.
