i9000 wet and dry electric razor

I'd give it 2.5 stars. The i9000 is supposedly a top end razor and to be honest I don't feel that you get anywhere near your moneys worth. I replaced my Philips Senso touch id with the i9000. The senso touch was far more comfortable in the hand and the head though of a similar size was small enough to get in those tough to reach places. It was quieter. The battery was slightly better and it came with a decent sized case and a decent brush. The i9000 comes with a reasonable hard case that is too small to accommodate the chartging lead and the brush. The cleaning brush is not fit for purpose and is a small soft nothingness that must have cost all of 1 pence. For all the electronics and LED's the only one I find usefull is the battery indicator. No point in keep taking the razor from your face to check the LED's to see if your shaving correctly. As for the cleaning pod, a complete waste of space, time and money. Much the same as the app. All in all it does give a reasonable shave for an electric shaver but it is certainly well overpriced.5 If this is progress I'm dissapointed.

This shaver shaves very close and I'm very happy with it, but I'm appalled to think that the company is too cheap to NOT include a wall plug for the USB charging cable. I had to "steal" one from my music stuff to find one that worked. The first one I tried didnt; the next one I tried did, which brings up another point: if you're too cheap to include a proper wall plug, then you should let us know the proper voltage/amperage to use.

I give this a low rating because I can’t get a very consistent shave using this shaver. Having to achieve the circular motion for a high percentage of time across my face including my lower lip is not possible. I understand the need to limit the time in use but when I follow up the shave with a wash of my face I feel areas that are not as cleanly shaven as other areas. In particular this applies to front of my neck.

Really disappointing. A regretted purchase. Over engineered, unwieldy and by no means intuitive. I an attempt to save paper, or production costs the instructions are just bizarre pictures of bits of the razor with no explanation. As such i have four or five things thst have gone into the bottom drawer of the cabinet, never to emerge. A pot of blue liquid, a bigger plastic pot, a wrird shape of plastic shaped like the razor head, but what is it all for, and how do you use it? Am sure it makes perfect sense to the design team but not to someone unpacking it for the first time. On top od thst the razor is needlessly huge and cumbersome- unhelpful for precision shaving your face, and the cutting wheels are so far from the edge if the head that you cant get to the whiskers under your nose. Reslly poor.

The 9000 series do not have round heads that float and are easy on the face. These heads have angles that catch on my chin, nose and jaw and in general, are not really comfortable.
