A: Hello! It is recommended to replace your Philips Sonicare Brush Head every three months of normal use (brushing twice a day) or when the blue indicator bristles wear out. One reason is that brush heads can get weary and will be less effective in removing plaque.

So small
This head is so small. It’s made for baby teeth. The C3 head from my 4100 is bigger and better. The S2 head is so small that the metal part hits my teeth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only been using the new S2 for a few weeks and now the flashing toothbrush symbol is lighting up. What's with that? Also, the button to turn the brush on or off is stuck so hard I can barely turn it on. What's with that? Overall, I am not happy with your products.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re sorry to hear that you’re encountering multiple issues with your toothbrush, both the flashing replacement reminder appearing so soon and the power button being difficult to press. That’s certainly not the experience we want for our customers, and we understand how frustrating this must be after only a few weeks of use. S2 brush head TOO SMALL
The brush head on this new "S2" version is WAY TOO SMALL. S2 is ~25% smaller than the original S! Please bring back the original "S" for sensitive teeth.

Nope
I usually get what I assume are regular brush heads, but saw these and thought maybe they were worth a go with my sensitive teeth. I just tried it for the first time and definitely don't like these. The brush won't go any stronger than the lowest setting and my teeth are not clean. It's too bad I got a four pack, I'm not dealing with this for a year, so now I get to buy a new pack of a different kind and never use these, great use of money.

We’re sorry to hear that these brush heads didn’t work well for your needs, especially with sensitive teeth — that’s definitely not the experience we want for you. scratchy gums
Disappointed, bristles not as gentle as expected and the design means the angled tip feels sharp on the gums when used. I thought it might be just the first one in the pack that was a bit defective, but the second was the same. So I won't re-order but will stick to my previous medium bristled brushheads which don't scratch the gums.

Kind on sensitive gums
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very soft bristles, was kind to my sensitive gums yet because the tooothbrush is so fab the brush heads still give a thorough clean. I do tend to brush my teeth and gums too hard so these brush heads have been very helpful in ensuring I don't damage myself, I'm very pleased with the 'extra soft' clean.

Sonicare S2 Brush Head
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter and I have used the Sonicare S2 brush head for a few weeks now and we have both noticed a difference in how clean our mouths and teeth are. The soft bristles are easy on the teeth and gums. I also feel that the vibrations through the bristles are less pronounced, but this hasn't affected the overall experience or effectiveness. The biggest difference we have seen is there has been less plaque build up and our teeth feel cleaner and whiter. I would have never thought that the extra soft bristles would be more effective than the medium bristle brushes we have previously used. Thw only negative comment my daughter made was that it could have been softer! We will definitely be switching to soft bristles from now on and would recommend the Sonicare S2 to anyone wanting a gentler, yet more effective teeth brushing experience.

Gentle Yet Effective – Perfect for Sensitive Gums
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tested the S2 Sensitive Philips Sonicare brush head (HX6052/87) for free through a tester program, and I was genuinely impressed. I have quite sensitive gums, and most brush heads either feel too harsh or don't clean well enough — but this one struck the perfect balance. The ultra-soft bristles felt incredibly gentle on my gums, with no irritation at all. I’m also a heavy tea drinker, and I noticed that despite how gentle it is, the brush head still helped lift some of the surface stains, which was a pleasant surprise, yet deducted a star as looking for something that completely removes the stains 🙈. It fits my Sonicare handle easily with the click-on design, and cleaning or replacing it is super simple. If you’re looking for something that’s kind to sensitive gums but still gets the job done, this is a great everyday option.

With their ultra-soft bristles, they are ideal for sensitive teeth and gums. I used these heads with my son and we both noticed healthier gums after a thorough clean. The most gentle toothbrush head available
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In comparison to other Sonicare toothbrush heads, this S2 Sensitive head stands out for its exceptionally soft bristles, somewhat resembling a pillow for your teeth. The densely packed bristles effectively cover each tooth, ensuring thorough cleaning without compromising on comfort. Notably, the vibration sensation on my teeth is less pronounced compared to other Sonicare brush heads, which may be beneficial for individuals with sensitive teeth and gums. Overall, when combined with the existing gentle yet effective deep clean provided by Sonicare toothbrushes, the S2 Sensitive head delivers exceptional comfort and performance. The delicate bristles provide a soothing experience, while the sonic vibrations and 3,000 bristles effortlessly remove plaque, ensuring a thorough clean.

Gentle but Thorough
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an existing Phillips sonicare toothbrush with regular brush heads. I have been getting some issues with my gums and teeth after whitening so wanted to try these brushheads to see if they make a difference. They clean just as effectively as the regular heads, however, they are much more gentle around the gum area.

Great for my sensitive teeth!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked how easy it was to use, and that it was compatible with the Philips Sonicare range! It clicked on no problem, and off, which is handy for swapping them out and cleaning etc. The bristles are extra soft, which was good for my sensitive teeth. Still felt like my teeth had a good clean despite being less firm than my usual bristles.
