I have used Philosophy for many years, including Hope smooth-glow multi-tasking moisturizer. I have a chronic illness that affects my skin, so I have to be very careful with facial products. Hope has been one of the only products that always provided excellent results (lasting hydration and smooth healthy glow), while being gentle enough. I waited all the way until Black Friday to repurchase. I am so disappointed. This jar does not moisturize or give a healthy glow like usual. It does the exact opposite. No beautiful light and whipped texture as it’s supposed to have. It also doesn’t have the very distinctive fresh and clean scent that I love so much. It caused me to breakout with whiteheads all over my face, which is never a skin issue I have. Instead of being moisturized, my skin is dull, dry and patchy/flaky. I used to get compliments on my skin all the time and would recommend this to everyone! I especially recommended to people who suffer from my illness. I’ve always received many thanks for the referral. I am so disappointed. This is nothing like the product I loved and trusted!

Goes on smoothly and lasts all day

I do love this moisturizer. I wish it wasn’t in a jar since you have to make sure your hands are clean and it’s one of my first skincare steps. I would say that I would buy again and keep using in the beginning of the day, I’ve enjoyed incorporating it into my morning routine and it leaves me skin glowy and soft. I love philosophy products

I have very sensitive skin. Nearly any sort of fragrance and my skin gets irritated. I took a chance on this cream and I do not regret it. This face cream goes on so smooth, like buttah. It has helped with skin discoloration & complexion. Truly grateful I found a cream that works for me. This is my holy grail.

After applying for some days i definitely recommend, it hydrated my skin without leaving any greasy areas and is great for mix skin.

Hydrating even though it's a lighter cream. The only drawback is that the packaging doesn't specify that this is a facial moisturizer, and I only learned this with a product search.

I cannot start my day without Hope, my moisturizer. I have used it for years. Before I started using it, I would get dry patches. Not anymore!

To help prevent irritation, I've gone back and forth between using this moisturizer & my old one for about 2 weeks now. I normally would have totally switched over by now, but I've not been 100% sold on the philosophy moisturizer. It has a light floral scent to it and is a bit greasy, whether I use it with a sunscreen or without. It's also thicker than I prefer a moisturizer to be. I've noticed my skin has been more red and textured than normal (even where I've never previously had issues), and while I can't definitively say it's because of this moisturizer, I would wager that it is. A little goes a long way, though, so you definitely won't need to repurchase often. I also like the heavy glass jar that it comes in & the cute packaging, but prefer when you don't have to scoop the product out with your finger, as I feel that this just makes the product even more greasy over time. Overall, I do prefer my other moisturizers better, especially for the cost.
