Worst Insect Killer Torch- just a Torch

Recently purchased this Insect Killer Torch, returned it 4 days later. The product should not be called Insect Killer Torch, as it did absolutely nothing. Just call it PIC Torch. Not a killer of insects. I followed all the directions as written. Well unfortunately it did nothing, even during the dusk hours. When you live in this part of Canada where mosquitoes are pretty common and plentiful, you need a strong zapper. Very disappointing but then you would need a powerful solar unit to kill flie, just saying

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hung this outside my back door in hopes it will attract the bugs instead of them coming into my house and it does a pretty good job. It glows a pretty blue, yellow and orange color and works great. It is solar powered and of course needs direct sunlight which is energy efficient, but you have up remember to put it out to charge. Overall, I really like it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love having a solar powered torch. It’s the perfect size for a table or for hanging. The PIC Portable Solar Insect Killer Torch doesn’t take to much space either. I left mine out all day to charge. It came on when there was no sun over the panels. It looks like it’s flashing/flickering. That was a nice feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This self sufficient device works well at maintaining bug infestations. Its set and forget, as long as you put it in a spot that gets plenty of sunlight. I will be getting a couple more to put around my porch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item seemed to work well for us. It's a great, compact size which is great to be able to move around. We also love that it's solar powered. I'll be interested to see if it makes a huge difference during peak mosquito season, but so far, so good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not only does it look good but it works great as well! Living in the hot south- bugs are always a problem but I've noticed a drastic decrease in bugs around our outside back patio. Solar powered so you'll never have to worry about batteries. Very beautiful at night with the lighting effects.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this torch! Firstly, it helps keep those annoying mosquitos and bugs away while we are hanging outside. Our deck area is small so this works great. It’s also very pretty! I love the fake flame, it looks realistic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the way this solar torch looks, especially when it lights up at night. The design is really cool and I love how it has a flickering light effect. However, it doesn't help with mosquitoes. It has killed a couple small moths, which was not my intended target. I really hoped it would take care of bugs that were actually a nuisance when hanging out outdoors as it warms up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This torch is very cute. It has lights inside that make it look like a real fire, so you can kill bugs without having an eyesore in the yard. It is solar powered as swell, so It doesn’t require batteries. There is no strange smell when this turns on with which I really appreciated. I think this product is a Win-Win because it kills bugs and looks nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This PIC Portable Solar Insect Killer Torch looks awesome in my front yard. It was very easy to set up, easy to follow the directions. I charge it in the sun throughout the days and by night time, the LED flame effect light comes on each night. It looks really nice sitting on the floor, a table, or also hanging somewhere. During the night when the flame light comes on, it gets rid of these annoying insects quickly when they fly around it.
Kills so many bugs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really cool alternative to all the chemical bug products. I love that its solar charged so I don't need to plug anything in. I can charge it in the sun anytime and it'll be ready to go several days later-so it doesn't have to charge the day of use (in case it's cloudy on camping day). It would be cool to have a plug in charge backup in case the clouds just won't stay away for an extended period of time. You can press the on button to keep it on so that it will automatically turn on when it gets dark enough - very neat. It would be great if there was a third option to turn on a little earlier as the bugs started to come out maybe 20minutes before it was triggered by light to come on. However, the easy bypass is to just put something on top of the torch (say a coaster) which then makes the sensor think it's dark enough and turns the light on. You can also push the button to turn it off if you're done for the evening. It definitely kept the little bugs away and the fake torch was a nice effect. The jury is still out if it specifically helps with mosquitos as its been a cooler spring for them and they haven't really come out yet this year.
Cute and effective!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These little lanterns have saved our lanai! We screened in our back porch/lanai so that we could use it year 'round in Southwest Florida, where the bugs are the size of small cats. The screen helped keeping the bigger bugs out, but somehow the little ones still find their way in and pester. These torches help! We have 2 of them and we leave them out during the day to charge up, then they switch on at night automatically. They look nice, and a few guests have even thought it was really a flame inside. They don't create that loud zapping sound either, that a lot of bug zappers do, but they zap them all the same. The torches are easy to use, easy to care for and easy to clean. Big thumbs up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so cute and affective! The little flame effect is so cute and it looks nice sitting on a table outside and not a eye sore. The sun power is great also because living in Arizona we have sun 90% of the time. Not having to worry about batteries is cost effective. We could hear the bugs getting zapped so works good.
