DIY kit but turned into a beautiful gift
So… I saw the box and thought my FIL would love these because he often water propagates plant cuttings (master level green thumb)… then when I went to wrap it, I noticed it was a DIY kit. Luckily I hadn’t procrastinated as long as I usually do, so I stained and assembled them before I gifted them. They turned out beautiful and expensive looking. Total win!!

Craft and gardening fun!
LOVED this kit from Target! It includes everything you need to create two (one small, one large) plant propagation stands. I suggest taking it slow as you stain the wood pieces, too much stain will cause drips that soak into the wood. I personally did one thin coat, ensuring to coat even the “inside” pieces, so no wood was left unfinished. This ensures that the wood is protected in case it gets humid with the plant/watering. The gloves are thin plastic protective gloves (not gardening gloves) but are necessary to not stain your fingers. The propagation vial is a great size for small plants, I add one pump of Miracle Gro Indoor Plant Food every two weeks or so, and my vine is thriving under grow lights. Enjoy the great craft!
