Playtex Sport Plastic Tampons Unscented Regular Absorbency - 48ct

Lately I've been experiencing some perimenopausal symptoms such as lighter flow, dryness, and change in the shape of my vaginal canal, so finding a tampon that works well for my body has been difficult and frustrating. I even thought I might need to start using lubricants to place tampons properly and avoid discomfort, but luckily I've found Playtex Sport. How do I explain? I'm anatomically petite and narrow? LOL and this applicator glides very easily and is shaped in a way that feels very natural to my body. I've experienced far less discomfort while the tampon is inserted, and one regular sized one held me the entire day of my heaviest day. So I'm sold! The reason I didn't try them sooner I think is because they're marketed as a "sport" product and I don't play sports, so it didn't dawn on me to buy them. If the company ever decides to re-brand them, I'd recommend using the word "active" perhaps? And featuring a different woman on each box or various women doing different activities on the box. I would have gravitated to the product faster in that case. But either way, so grateful I finally found this product and thank you!

I used to use the sport for many years then all of a sudden the last year or so no absorbency. It will only absorb on 1 side & no expansion. Have leak problems and more. I have used regular, super, and plus. Used to be such good tampons.

I love everything about this product except the ingredients. Why can't you use natural, organic ingredients in this tampon like in the clean ones? The sport applicators are the best, but I would love to have better ingredients for the tampons themselves.

I always use Tampax but decided to try Playtex sport as they were on sale and I was in a pinch. I would not recommend. They don’t expand at all so I don’t know how they even absorb anything! I find myself changing it way more often than I would using Tampax. They don’t have any kind of leak proofing either since they don’t expand and the string is so tiny that if it does leak it won’t absorb anything. The applicator is also weird and they seem so small. I got the super size and they are the size of a regular or light! They are comfortable but they don’t do anything

Doesn’t work. Doesn’t absorb. Plus it leaks after 30 minutes.

These tampons are not a good purchase. Do you know how many times I have went to change my tampon and this applicator broke and fell into the toilet? And then I’m sitting in the work bathroom, my only tampon (because who takes more than one tampon to the bathroom at work?) in the water? The absorbency is great! But they can’t absorb from the toilet! Please (from all working women) fix the applicator so we don’t have to make 2 trips to the bathroom and create suspicions (what is this girl doing going to the bathroom so much?) She’s just trying to change her tampon but the tampon doesn’t want to be changed. Thanks!

Started using the regular sport version not too long ago and honestly it was the best switch ever from what I was originally using! A lot of the tampons I used before used to hurt or the edges of the applicator were too sharp but the tapered edge works perfectly and I can't imagine going back to what I originally used haha. It feels like Playtex actually asked women the problems they had with other designs and changed it to fit those needs or at least that's how I felt. I will say on my heaviest days I do have to change them more frequently but that's honestly what I expect anyways and my only complaint is that there isn't a light version for the sport but hey anything's possible for the future lol

I usually use pearl but bought these just to try. They leaked almost every one I used plus the applicator broke. The cherry on top was the string breaking and needing to go to urgent care and getting it removed by a doctor. Will never buy again.

Dry and removal is very uncomfortable. I can feel these get stuck inside me and when out the cotton is pulled away. Doesn’t matter if it’s a heavy or light day, they always stick

Half of the top got stuck during removal, not designed well, when I take out a tampon I usually like the whole thing to be there… Used to be a good brand, now made cheap and unreliable.

Easy to used, instructions clear with pictures. Gread absorption. Attractive colors and packaging. Have the exact 18 tampons in the box. I will définitivéy used them. great prices and frequently in deals-solds.

Using the 18 pack non-scented ones, I found them to work pretty well! They were absorbent and lasted the whole time I was playing volleyball which was a few hours (on a team during a tournament): I would for sure use again!

I really like this product. As a person with a heavy flow, I never had any issues with this product, it does not leak nor cause any discomfort issues. The applicator is easy to use and the brand is not expensive at all. Overall, this is the best tampon brand out there, you will not regret your purchase.

Playtex sport tampons are and always will be my favourite tampons. I have a very physical job that requires me to squat and go into positions that other competing tampons would put me at risk of leaks or the feeling that it's falling out. With this type of tampon, it stays in place and I never have to worry about any accidents or leaks. I recently just tried the 18 pack of them and it's great value for your money!

These tampons are great for an active lifestyle. When you're on the go, these leave you worry free about changing frequently or being uncomfortable. I love how they are individually packaged and come with an applicator. I can use it easily while on the go.

I love the Playtex Sport. One of my favourite tampons to use. It has a small skirt at the bottom to catch any residual bleeding. Also perfect for having an active lifestyle and being on the go. I don't have to worry about bleeding through cause I'm confident the tampon can absorb everything.

So glad I found this! Super comfortable and love the contoured tip! The packaging is beautiful and it held up despite running 10k.

First of all, starting with the plastic wrapping on the tampon, I found it quite easy to open but I think that the wrapping could be way more discret ( for example just 1 color ) so that it is not the first thing one sees when I open my purse in front of them! I also did not appreciate that it is not possible to close back the wrapping after opening it. Some brands of tampons do have a sticky opening that make it easy to put and seal the applicator back in the wrapping after use but it was not the case with that product. I did really like my experience using the tampon itself! It was the easiest tampon to insert and it did absorb very well on day 3 on my period. I was able to keep it in for about 5 hours and did not experience any leak. The one thing that I did not like about the tampon itself was the string! It felt quite thin and weak when removing it and I appreciate other tampons brands that have way thicker strings so that I am not scared that it may break! Finally, I did appreciate the product and give it 4 stars overall because I barely felt it while it was inside my body and it felt very comfortable for hours. This products for sure presents great value.

I purchased a box of Playtex Sport 18 count tampons. I usually don't reach for tampons but needed something because I was going skating and didn't want to worry about the bulkiness of pads. These tampons were absorbent. I experienced zero issue with the applicator. In addition, I experienced no discomfort and even forgot about it being there when I was skating around. These were so sleek and comfortable, I will be using these for non-sports activities as well. I also no longer have to worry about leakage, not too mention these were really affordable as well-great value!

I bought the 18pk regular playtex sport. As tampons go, this is a fairly comfortable one. The plastic applicator is easy to use and causes no discomfort. I did not experience any leaking and would agree the label of "regular flow" was accurate. The actually tampon shape is not my favourite fit for my body. But each women would have a differing opinion on that. Overall, worked as described and caused no discomfort.
