A: Hi - yes, this design has an on-of switch, it does not have a dimmer switch. However, you could always add a line cord dimmer to the lamp if you would like additional lighting control. Thank you for the question.

Q: Does the table have to align with the lamp? I'd like to have light over seating and table turned the other way so it is along side the chair.

A: Hi - good question! The lamp is really designed to be assembled as pictured. You might be able to cheat the table orientation, but we would have to experiment with the assembly process to be able to tell you for sure.

Poor quality for price
Where it connects to base and you can overtighten it when hand tightening and cause it to be loose. My lamps bottom is hidden and had to drill and use screws to tighten it. They would of replaced if had the tons of styrofoam to repack it. Poor design for the expensive price. Do not buy

Leaning Tower
The lamp is really nice IF you can get it to stay up straight. Put it together, it was straight then over time it started leaning. My husband got it straight then within a few days it was back to leaning.

I LOVE my Possini floor lamp!
I just ordered a second lamp like this one. I just love it; it gives wonderful light, charges my phone while I sleep, and, I can easily reach to turn it off. I’m happy that I will now have one on each side of the bed. It is also a very pretty lamp!

I am giving it 2 stars because it’s beautiful but this lamp doesn’t stand straight as shown in the picture,here. It’s leaning forward and has a rather awkward shape on the top half. Not flattering at all.

Great lamp!
I love this lamp. Easy to assemble. The only critique I have is that it would be great to have this lamp at the height of 72 inches. It provides enough light to still function as lighting for casual reading or work.
