A: Fill weight is NOT the same as Fill Power. Fill weight tells you how much the down in the comforter weighs. Fill power is the wamth level of the down. The higher the fill power the warmer the down is.

If You are purchasing a different brand, the casaluna duvet insert is slightly oversized, with dimensions measuring 110x96, but will still fit in any King sized duvet insert, even if they measure smaller. Do not buy! I thought for the price it would be amazing and was willing to splurge. Feathers EVERYWHERE after about 6 months I put my flashlight up to the fabric and realized there was slim to no feathers even left! Horrible. Not sure how they even got out. Never had these problems with any other duvet insert Ive bought.

I have the queen and king and it leaks feathers all over the place. You don't want to change the duvet cover because it will be filled with feathers. If you guys this item you will have feathers in your hair, feathers all over the floor, feathers everywhere.

Consistent shedding that gets worse with time
We bought this in Feb. 2025, and it’s now June 2026. It is a nice fluffy duvet insert. However, what started as just a few small feathers here and there has blossomed into a feathery dust storm whenever we change our sheets. Every night when we pull back our sheets to get into bed, tiny white feathers are floating through the air. We’ve tried shaking it outside several times, but it’s getting worse. This started to get frustrating about six months after owning it. Not great quality—I don’t recommend.

Terrible delivery service - item never arrived and now longer available no
I waited almost 3 weeks for delivery of this item only to discover that it is now considered "returned" and is no longer available. I called both Target and Fed Ex who was the shipper and no one could tell me anything about the package. I was never informed that it was returned. My address is a post office box in a city so, the suggestion that the address was incorrect is laughable. I would suggest buying things elsewhere if possible. The delivery system for Target does not seem to be working.

Not worth it
It seemed fine at first . It is a pretty expensive comforter, you would think it should be perfect . My son’s room has been full of feathers for the whole year I’ve had it . Every time I make the bed feather just fly in the air . I will be getting rid of it unfortunately. Sad to say but a waste of money.

Nice all-season comforter
Really liking it so far! This comforter is warm and cozy while also breathable, so my husband and I don’t overheat at night despite being hot sleepers. It does leak feathers here and there but that’s pretty unavoidable with down filling. For the price point, I do wish it was just a little thicker/heavier with a box stitch so it would fit more snugly in the duvet cover without the cover bunching up in some places, but to be fair there is also a heavyweight option. I would have gone for the heavyweight given the cold climate where we live but it was out of stock. Overall though I am happy with the quality of this comforter.

Do not buy!!
I originally had a queen sized bed with a Pottery Barn down comforter which I loved, but I sized up to a king and did not want to drop $400 on a new comforter. So, I figured Casaluna would be a good and more affordable dupe as I have purchased blankets, etc from this brand. Wow was I wrong, all this comforter does is spew out tiny feathers with the slightest of movement. I don’t suffer from allergies but these feathers constantly filling the air and covering surfaces is incredibly irritating! I used to enjoy just using my down comforter without a duvet, but if you plan to buy this comforter you need a duvet 100% of the time.

Comfort ruined by messiness
Comfortable, but sheds feathers, dust and down RELENTLESSLY. Appears to have more small feathers than just down and they wind up poking through the bedding constantly. I can't rcommend this blanket. Needs a higher thread count, less feathers, and possibly baffle-box construction.
