[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom living in a smaller house, I’m always trying to find ways to maximize our space. This bookshelf does exactly that! I can easily put books in the top two shelves and other toys or larger books on the bottom. This would also be amazing if you have two smaller ones sharing a room! It took me less than 30 minutes to set up. I also feel it’s a perfect height for my daughter who can easily access everything without needing mommy’s help. I was given this storage cubby to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Storing kids toys is such a challenge. I really liked this bookcase for my daughter's toys and books. I received it through Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I am grateful I did. The cubby bookcase was very easy to put together, even with a toddler trying to "help". I think it took under 20 minutes. All the pieces line up, and it seems prettty sturdy. It works great to hold small toys and books in our living room, and I can see us using it in her room as well down the road. While she is a bit young to use it as a doll house, I think she will soon. This is useful, well-made, and definitely fits in lots of places.

I like how it's sturdy, looks good, and how there are handle spaces on the side to pick up and move. However, it's on the smaller side. It can fit some medium sized books and smaller or board books for younger children. We will continue to use it but as our kids get older it'll probably used exclusively for toys.

It’s perfect to hold baby items that you need to keep organized and off to one area of the room. It keeps my 14mo old occupied too- he loves to walk up to it, and play with different items we keep in it or he will play his own little game of “take out, put back, take out, put back.” Set up was much easier than anticipated; A+ for those instructions. Took one star off only because we would love it to be a little bigger!

Assembly was a breeze and it’s perfectly sized for little ones. My daughter loves it and fills it with her favorite toys every day — best sign it’s a winner! It is on the smaller side, but that’s on me for not checking the dimensions beforehand. Lesson learned — always check measurements first! Overall, functional, easy to build, and totally kid-approved. It only fits a few stuffed animals and isn’t tall enough for taller books and you’d run out of room because of the slanting “roof”. It’s super cute for a nursery or something along those lines, but I wouldn’t recommend it for robust storage for a playroom. Really easy to put together. It took about 15 minutes to assemble and only required a screwdriver. Also, minimal clean up in terms of styrofoam and cardboard. The Stellar Product Testing Panel sent this product to me to test and it did not disappoint. The product was easy to assemble and the look could not be beat. It was perfect for my two year old daughter's bedroom. We quickly added books to the shelf and stuffed animals to the storage unit at the bottom. It has been so easy for my daughter to pull off books to read and find a friend to snuggle with while we read. The design is also adorable! It looks like a little house and the white color makes it perfect to match any space. My daughter loved that it could also double as a little house for her stuffed animals! The size is also a plus. It is not as big as a regular bookshelf taking away any concern of it falling over. I would highly recommend this piece for a child's bedroom!

It was very easy for me (a busy mom with your average amount of handiness) to assemble the bookshelf. It took about a half an hour. All of the hardware was included, and the pieces arrived damage free. The shelf itself is made of high quality materials, and it feels really sturdy. I was able to quickly assemble the shelf with the provided paper directions. The design is adorable and functional. I love the style that allows my children to safely self - select their books and toys. I can easily rotate the selection, and my kids can reach books without needing my help. The shelf is about 20 inches long and at it's peak, it's 23 inches. You have to stagger books based on height, and some of my taller books do not fit. I love that some of my kids favorite toys have a spot to store them in this shelf too! Overall, the design, quality, and functionality of this self is 5 stars! It was very easy to put together, small enough to fit into small spaces but still has enough storage for your books. When I first found out I’d be receiving this bookcase through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was so excited but also nervous about where I was going to put it. We live in a smaller home, so space is pretty limited when it comes to adding new furniture. Luckily, the shelf was much smaller than what I anticipated after looking at the photos online, which turned out to be a huge positive for us! I assumed I’d have to get rid of something else to make room for it, but instead, this adorable little shelf fit perfectly right under my bedroom window. The shelf ended up being the perfect size for my one year old daughter. She can easily reach all of her favorite books, toys, teethers, and little loose items without needing help. In spite of the shelf’s smaller size, I have been amazed at just how much it is able to store neatly and keep up and off my floor. I truly did not expect to love this shelf as much as I do, but both my daughter and I are obsessed with it now. It has helped keep my room so much tidier — no more random toys constantly scattered all over the floor — and it’s the perfect height and width for a toddler to actually use independently. The design is absolutely adorable, and I also really appreciate that it’s made with nontoxic materials. As a crunchy mom of two toddlers, that’s a huge deal to me and something I always look for when bringing new furniture into our home. The clean, plain white color and minimal design look beautiful in my living room, making toy and book organization look neat and tidy instead of cluttered with mismatched storage bins. Sizing & Functionality It is a bit smaller than I initially expected. For context, it is about the same height as (or slightly shorter than) my shorter-than-average 1-year-old. It is incredibly lightweight, which is a bit of a double-edged sword: * The Good: It is incredibly easy to move from room to room, and because it’s lightweight, it gives some peace of mind that it wouldn't do massive damage if an accident happened. * The Caution: Because it is so light and doesn't have anything to anchor it to the wall, a toddler can easily push, move, or tip it over. Assembly & Quality The assembly process took about 30 minutes. It required a few more steps than I would have thought for a piece this size, but it wasn't too difficult overall. However, the materials do feel a bit cheap for the price point. The engineered wood splits incredibly easily—if you accidentally drill even half a millimeter too deep while putting it together, the outer laminate will crack and splinter right at the joints. What I Like Most The minimal aesthetic is definitely my favorite part. It blends seamlessly into a main living space while still keeping the kids' toys accessible. We have the matching toddler bed and this little shelf is the cutest little addition! It is the perfect size for little baby and toddler toys and books. Assembly could not have been easier. Directions were clear and simple and there was only one type of screw needed so there was really no opportunity for confusion. I have assembled a lot of things as a parent and this was by far the easiest. It only took a few minutes. All pieces arrived in good shape. Potential buyers should note the exact dimensions. This shelf is quite small. I have included a photo of my 13 month old baby and 2.5 year old toddler using the shelf to provide a general idea. I have no complaints about the size - it is perfect for little ones - but I do think it may be unexpected for some. The house design is very cute and the 4 compartments make it easy to organize small play items. I can see my kids turning it into a dollhouse someday when we no longer have baby toys around. This is the perfect little storage solution and I wouldn’t change a thing about it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Trellis Storage Cubby Bookcase is adorable and is a great concept, but It’s way smaller than I originally thought it would be, which was kind of a disappointment. But other than that, I will say that it’s very sturdy and well made and is way better quality than I originally expected. The wood pieces are smooth and have some weight to them. Not so heavy that it makes it hard to move around or put together, but you can tell it’s not made of cheap particle board with a cheap wrap like most things are made of these days; and in turn end up falling apart and showing wear almost instantly. I can say with confidence that you will not experience that with this bookcase. It doesn’t wobble at all once it’s put together either. It has a playful design and aesthetic about it, and I think the dollhouse shape is super cute. I appreciate how the bottom part is built, making is perfect for storing small toys. The instruction manual was very simple and easy to follow, and the assembly was even easier, taking no more than 10 minutes. Each piece was labeled with a sticker that was easy to remove without leaving any residue, and all the holes that were pre drilled lined up perfectly. It provides exactly the amount of dowels and screws that you will need, but no extras, so make sure you don’t misplace any of them. It also doesn’t include any tools, so make sure you have a screw driver or drill available to build it. If I could change anything about this, it would be the heads of the screws; instead of just plain silver, i wish the heads of them were painted white to give the bookcase a more clean, seamless finish once assembled. I also wish it was bigger. This isn’t going to help so much with organizing since not much can fit inside of it, but it is still adorable either way. The simple yet chic dollhouse inspired design makes it both functional and decorative, perfect for play, storage, or display. The materials are of high quality. It feels very sturdy and well made. Assembly is easy and I was able to put it together by myself in under 30 minutes. One minor downside is that there are quite a few visible silver screws after assembly, which slightly takes away from the overall aesthetic, but it’s not a major issue. At around 22 inches tall and 20 inches wide, it’s the perfect size for my 19 month old to independently access her books and toys. I especially love that it encourages independence and makes cleanup and playtime easier for her. It has even doubled as a fun staging area for her barnyard toys during imaginative play. Overall, I’m very pleased with this bookcase and would definitely recommend it for a nursery, toddler room, or play space.
