Not much better than nothing. No curl definition. It may even relax my curl which is the opposite of what you want. No shine just dull and lifeless.

This was…fine. I’m discovering that I can’t do a curl crème alone. I need a gel on top or I get very little definition, more frizz than I like, and overall dullness, which is what this one did when I used it by itself. Also all of Miss Jessie’s products smell too strongly in my opinion. However, it didn’t leave my hair dry like some reviewers mentioned. Hair was very soft and moisturized, just not the look I was going for. My hair is thick, 2c, medium.

I thought I was going to love it from other peoples reviews and already loving this brand so much. I am a loyal Pillow Soft cream user, have literally never found a curl cream work better for my hair but it’s pricey!! I figured I’d try this and cut a few bucks off but am returning it for pillow soft. This cream did its job holding the curls but I felt like I was using so much more cream than usual and it was almost too watery. My curls were sooooo frizzy and my ends fuzzy and undefined. I tried it two times and each time my hair was a mess by 4pm and had to be pulled up. Stick with Pillow Soft curl cream!

Personally looked forever for a formula that would work well on my hair without being crunchy. My hair is wavy, blonde and I use just this to let it air dry!

Really helps my curls form! I love this product and that it really helps define my curls and tame my frizz.

It really hasn’t impressed me much, it does its job but does not hold curls or help with frizz as much as the multicultural option. The multicultural option also seems to moisturize more.

I like the lotion like Consistency of the product, very smooth, and light weight. Made my Curls fluffy/ Soft without a crunch. Smells good kinda like a tea tree oil scent or floral, I can’t really describe it.

Love this product. It smells great and makes my hair really soft.

Every time I use this product I always get compliments. I would strongly recommend purchasing this item.

I really wanted to like this. I bought it in order to do a “quick” WNG but it did not deliver. For my type of hair (4a-4b) It barely made a curl, if at all. Nothing!!!!

It undid my curls and made my hair look super dry. Not for my type of natural curly hair.

This smells like dog shampoo. It didn’t add any moisture to my hair but left it feeling very stringy. It certainly didn’t add any definition to my curls either. I like the pillow soft curls more than this one but they’re completely different purpose wise.

I used to swear by Miss Jessie's pillow soft curls, but I couldn't stand the smell and eventually gave it up because of it. I grabbed this because it smelled nicer and I wanted to see if maybe it would have the same effect for my curls. Nope! If it weren't for the fragrance I wouldn't even know that I had put anything on my hair. It's poofy, poorly defined curls, just overall looks bad. I used a generous quarter sized dollop for my shoulder length hair...was that not enough? I'll be exchanging this for sure. For reference my hair is a 2c/3a depending on how it's cut and styled, extremely thick, medium coarseness.

i’d recommend to every curly girl because it didn’t weigh my hair. and it smelled citrusy smells good. made my curls less frizzy.

I like putting this product on my hair after a shower. It helps add curls and get rid of the extra frizz.

It’s ok. Curls don’t define that well and weighed too much for my hair.

I like what it did to help curl my hair (3a) and I enjoyed the lemony smell. But, after I slept on it it would make my hair dry+brittle and create tangles that took me forever to work through. I also started loosing more hair than usual during the detangling process!

I liked (not loved) what it did to my 3b hair, but not enough to get over the smell. It had like a menthol smell or something medicinal. I couldn't quite pinpoint what it smelled like, but either way I returned it.

I love this product. It gave my curls life and without the crunch or a gel cast that other products leave on my hair. I did a wash and go and cold air diffused with this product and my curls look amazing. I will never be without this product!
