The new recipe is not good at all. I will not buy again until you go back to the old recipe. Please return to the original recipe.

Good enough for a restaurant
I worked in a restaurant where we used Knorr hollandaise sauce on our quiche and that's where I learned to love it. I'm not sure it tastes exactly like homemade Hollandaise but if it's good, then it's good.

Barf worthy Bernaise
Poor . Absolutely Horrid! After 20 plus years of using Knorr Bernaise the new version is horrible. It is so unpleasant that I thought they mixed the bernaise with hollandaise by accident. It's acidic, has no tarragon flavor, richness or smell and ruined the dishes that I used it in. Just put it back the way it was. If this stuff was approved by "taste testers" they should be sacked!! Even the consistency is thinner, its no longer thick and smooth. Flimsy texture. Dreadfully disgusting. Will have to find another brand.

Very satisfied!
After reading several recent, negative reviews I was expecting the worst. I was pleasantly surprised. The sauce turned out very well, with just the right consistency and good flavor.

You RUINED it!
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO THIS SAUCE MIX? I have used this product for over 30+ years , and was unable to find it after moving to a new area. I recently found it and was so excited to use it for a special Christmas breakfast. It was absolutely tasteless! I completely ruined our breakfast as we did not have in house what was needed to make the sauce from scratch. Shame on you for degrading such a great product, while increasing its price. This seems to be a trend in your company as I also tested several other Knoor products since. The store brands are better!

Bearnaise sauce review
For many many years, I have enjoyed a variety of knorr’s sauce mixes. They were the best! It’s been a couple of years, since I made bearnaise sauce and what a disappointment! The primary ingredients of importance that differentiate bearnaise from holindaise are shallots and tarragon! The now version doesn’t even list either of those in the ingredient disclosure! What happened to this recipe? Companies are trying to eliminate the roots of flavor to appeal to the masses! It’s ok if everyone doesn’t prefer, it has a unique flavor, which enhances many meals! I am very disappointed in this company’s attempt to improve their product! First they discontinued Newburg sauce mix and now, they’ve ruined the Bearnaise Sauce mix!! Fake chemical taste is not what America wants! Please go back to what you knew and created for decades!!

Vastly in inferior flavor, older version please!
It has been a decades long tradition to pair knorrs béarnaise sauce with beef Wellington on Christmas Day. I used whole milk and butter, the flavor was incredibly bland. I even whisked-up a second béarnaise sauce envelope thinking I purchased a compromised product. I will certainly miss the older version flavor, but I would rather go without in the future.

Good
Knorr Bernesa is quick and easy to prepare, and the flavor is surprisingly rich and creamy. I like the hint of herbs, especially the tarragon, which gives it a classic taste. It’s perfect for steak or vegetables and makes a simple meal feel more special

Awful product
The principal flavor of Bearnaise sauce is supposed to be tarragon. There is no tarragon or ANY OTHER FLAVOR in this awful, misrepresented sauce mix. It should be totally withdrawn until reformulated and tested on people who know what Bearnaise sauce is.

The current recipe is garbage! Don’t bother!
This new version of the recipe is just garbage! I have had the original since I was a child. I then bring it back every holiday, my children look forward to its taiste. Then a few years back some idiot decided to change the recipe. Why? If it ain’t broke why change it. I can understand an alternative but the whole recipe? Corporate, yes you, GET IT TOGETHER! I have stopped purchasing the Knorr staple in all my recipes, and I as a generational customer, no longer recommend or purchase from this company. If they can’t figure out that a number one seller needs to be corrected and returned to its original recipe, it is not a company I can support. I am so tired of these big corporate taking greed vs what is right. Stop screwing up our holidays and special meals we prepare for our families!!

New & NOT improved
I’m not one to write reviews but this new recipe is really disappointing. Used to love this because it was an easier way to make pretty comparable hollandaise sauce. Now it’s too runny and lacks flavor. I won’t buy again

Used to bring smiles, now it brings disappointment
I just bought a 6 pack and it's terrible now. I actually had to go check the packet to make sure I bought the right thing, because it tastes nothing like the classic Knorr hollandaise sauce. This used to be the BEST hollandaise pack mix, and now there is practically no flavor and its weirdly fluffy like half-whipped cream. This used to be the only hollandaise I would buy, but at this point I guess I will be making it from scratch. Will not be buying again unless the recipe goes back to the original. It actually made what is normally my favorite breakfast WORSE by adding it, plain would have tasted better than whatever this is. The changes they made in the last couple years have totally ruined what used to be an amazing packet mix. If you wanted to offer a gluten-free, dairy-free, flavor-free, everything-free sauce, fine, but make it an option instead of a replacement. Hollandaise sauce should be rich and flavorful, not just a pale-yellow way to make your eggs or asparagus wet.

Why Knorr?! Why?!
Despite their claims, it is clear that Knorr has change the recipe for their Hollandaise sauce, and definitely not for the better. The sauce used to taste exactly like the sauce on the eggs benedict at Perkins restaurant. I'm not sure if that's what Perkins uses or not or if the eggs benedict still tastes the same there. I have a student that works there and will ask. If they taste the same and it's not Knorr, I'll find out and switch over to that. The "New Coke" Knorr Hollandaise sauce is not worth the trouble to prepare. On the second tasting out of the saucepan, I thought it tasted VERY similar to powdered mac-n-cheese sauce. Sorry Knorr, ya lost me.

Please return to the old recipe!
Please, PLEASE! Go back to the old recipe. This experiment has run it's course. It is awful, thin, runny and tasteless. Knorr Hollandaise was once the best. Why did you ruin it? I can hardly believe ANYONE likes this better.

They ruined it by changing it.
Will never use again. now it's gluten free and has different ingredients, and no longer calls for milk. Pale, thin, sometimes lumpy, and tasteless. They took a good thing and completely screwed it up, good Job Knorr.

As good as "made from scratch"!
Love this! I don't know how you make hollandaise sauce from scratch so I used this and it honestly elevated my eggs benedict! Would 100% buy again (and already have!)
