    Nostalgic

    These remind me of my childhood. I always had one waiting for me at my dads house. My Easter basket always had one of these in it. I buy one almost every time I grocery shop and enjoy it on the way home with me kids.

    This used to be a very creamy chocolate bar. Hershey (which owns the US version) has since changed the recipe using palm oils giving it an awkward aftertaste. At $3.19 a bar, just be aware it’s not the same bar it was years ago.

    The product tastes as good as it says in the ingredients. But, it does not taste like true Cadbury's chocloate like it did in the past. There is no cocoa mass or cocoa solids in the ingredients, that is why probably it has lost the flavor.

    Cadbury Dairy Milk takes me straight back to summers in Canada, when life felt wide open and chocolate actually tasted like chocolate. This isn’t nostalgia lying to me either—Cadbury has been part of Canada forever, and Dairy Milk has been around long enough to earn its legend status. As a kid, it felt like a treat. As an adult, it feels like proof I wasn’t romanticizing the past. It’s still creamy, still rich, still better than most of the waxy nonsense trying to pass as chocolate now. I love all Cadbury products, but Dairy Milk is the one that hits hardest—simple, indulgent, and unapologetically good. One bite turns into several, self-control exits the room, and honestly? That’s how it should be.
