A: Hi Mickey. Thanks for your interest in our Hunt's Tomato Paste. The Ingredient for this product are: TOMATO PASTE, CITRIC ACID. That said, the salts used in our products are not iodized. If iodized salt is added to our product, it would be declared on the label. Sea Salt will not always be declared on the label as Sea Salt. Sea Salt may be labeled as "salt" in the ingredient statement. Additionally, the Product Certification for this product is Circle K (OK Kosher Certification) We hope this information is helpful. A good tomato paste. I have a suggestion: Why not make it in individual sized packets like you get in ketchup and mustard packets at a restaurant? Maybe in a 1-2 tbsp size. That way you could use it in cooking without tossing the rest of the can. And each time you use a packet it would be fresh! Some companies have a reusable tube but it doesn't last long in the fridge. You could sell boxes of 25 or 50 packets or so.

The hunts all natural tomato past that is 0 sodium,has 25 sodium. And the regular. has 25 sodium, they are identical! That is false advertisement and dangerous! When it says 0 sodium it should not have any. Did you think you could use the same product and just change color a little on packaging and put ( false) 0 sodium? This really is disappointing for such a Big $ maker your products produces. How many more will I find that you think it ok to fool everyone and get by with it.

I bought a 12 Ounce can of Hunts Tomato paste to make spaghetti. Ick … something rotten was in the middle of the can. Expiration date on the can is sept 7 2025. Maybe they need to do a recall. Wish I could attach the pic I took. Here’s the other info on the can 2105335120A07: 03Y.

I love this product. I use this when I make a sauce and all I have to do it add in a cup or water with it. We also love the flavor, although I do add spices to it. The can is so sturdy too which is helpful.

I've been using Hunts Tomato Paste for over 50 years and I'm noticing this last while, I have to add a large amount of brown sugar to stop it from being so tart. Has the recipe been changed? Do you have any idea why this is happening?

I’m upset that you decided to make a different bottom to the can than the top, I use to be able to remove both ends and push the paste out with no waste now I have to scoop it out and it takes to long and I can’t get it all out.

I got this can today 6.21.2023 it does expire on 12 2024 , and guess what!!!! When I opened it it popped and scared me and boom !! It’s bad it has mold and smells so so bad couldn’t wait to the picture and dump it!! Who should we blame target or hunts ….

I have used the tomato paste for years to make my own sauce. This last time when I opened the cans all three had the middle missing (much like the review from Seattle) I believe I was missing 25 to 50% of the paste that should have been in the cans. I hope this is not their way of avoiding a price increase by decreasing the contents.

When I opened the can of tomato paste it had a giant compressed center that looked like someone stuck a rod or something into the can. I took a photo of it but I can't seem to find a place to submit it.

I bought 5 cans for pickup at Walmart. When I got home I saw that one of them had a black smear on the side near the top. I opened it with my electric canopener and saw splotches of mold inside. I have used this for years and this is the first time I ever had such an experience. I wish I could attach a picture. It was unique and shocking! Is this Hunts fault or Walmart’s fault
