A: I got 3.17oz bars despite picture still showing 4oz, sounds like another case of systematic product downsizing and keeping price fixed...

A: Yes, a white paper wrapping is on each individual bar.

A: Each soap is wrapped in white paper (with no Ivory advertising).

A: Ivory products work best on the area for which they were designed since different areas of skin have different needs. For example, intimate areas may be more sensitive than the rest of your body. We specifically design our products with these differences in mind. Our products are mild on the skin and shouldn’t cause irritation. If you have concerns, we recommend you check with your doctor as they're in the best position to advise you.

A: It does not float. We are bringing you this new Ivory formula with plant based cleansers that is still pure and gentle on skin. The Ivory bar is still 99.44/100% purity (Original Scent only) even if it doesn't float and gentle on skin and Dermatologist tested.

A: The change to a plant-based formula in our Ivory bar soap may result in a different scent due to the use of new ingredients that are derived from natural sources. While we aim to maintain the signature scent you love, the transition to plant-based components can alter the fragrance profile. A: Ivory Soap is not hypoallergenic.

A: It is more than likely the new formula.

A: Technically not antibacterial. Though, the US FDA found 0 evidence of antibacterial soaps better at preventing illness than plain soap and water. Antibac soap can actually be worse long term.

A: Our Ivory Gentle Bar Soap Original has the original scent. In the beauty care industry, we use two specific terms to help consumers find the right products to use, unscented and fragrance-free. Unscented products may contain a light scent to mask the natural odor of the ingredients in the formula. These ingredients do not have a pleasant smell, which is why it's necessary to add a very small amount of light fragrance to make the product more enjoyable to use. Fragrance-free products do not contain any added fragrance.
